The issue is definitely coming from those GPU drivers...

You really need to do a full uninstall followed by a clean install—honestly, your best bet is just following the steps in that video above.

I ended up saving about $1,300. Back then in the States, a decent GPU would've cost me as much as my entire rig did over in Germany...

Are they charging German or American taxes? Like, what's the sales tax situation?

As far as I know, Mindfactory doesn't even ship to the States...

Ordered, paid, arrived. Shipping can run you over $160 though—but get this—if you place your order between midnight and 6 AM, they'll give you free shipping. Crazy, right?

I was originally looking at spending maybe around $850, but now I’m staring at the RX 6900 XT. From what I’ve been digging up online, it sits right in that sweet spot between a 3080 and a 3090—basically acting like a 3080 Ti—but there's about a $300 price gap... and honestly, I'm wondering if it's smarter to just take that extra $300 and dump it into another part, like a beefier CPU or something instead...

So, I’m looking for some solid advice on a GPU for gaming—planning to pull the trigger on the card right now, even though I won't be upgrading the rest of my rig until later... also, I definitely need some recommendations for a 27-inch 1440p monitor to go with it, by the way.

thanks
I’ve been rocking an SSD for like 8 years now, and man, making that jump from a clunky old Hard Drive was a total game changer...

Just picked up a laptop with an M.2 SSD, and honestly? Getting Windows installed and fully updated took maybe 15 minutes tops... I barely even noticed the time it took to copy my Windows files from the USB over to the SSD, it was just that fast.

Whenever I think back to over a decade ago when a simple installation would drag on for an hour or more—and then I see people out there today *still* running their OS on a Hard Drive... seriously?

Look, I’m not exactly some high-maintenance power user or anything, but if I were forced to go back to a Hard Drive, I'd probably lose my mind.
