First we were crying over some cheap fried dough when we were kids, and now at 30, we’re crying over a donkey. The forums are basically just one big sob story lately—not that this thread is any different. Honestly, those obnoxious little trolls from across the state can keep their insults; they don't mean a thing to us.

Oh, please. You guys were too busy yelling at him like a bunch of mindless drones. Just splitting the spoils among yourselves, right?
So, how’s it going—watching some 60-year-old guy try to get into the face of a rider, only to see someone younger drop down and he immediately stops pedaling? Hahaha. What a total fake.
The donkeys are making the most noise again—as usual. Frustrated, jealous, just loud for the sake of it. It’s funny, though—when you actually have results to back up your shouting, you’ve got something to stand on. But for those living in that delusional bubble where they just scream into the void? There’s nothing there. Just two decades of straight failure and misery.

Honestly, I'm just hoping for some high-quality demolition along the way—especially those old warehouses—because it’ll be pure bliss listening to the refined, sophisticated local media rant about those wild outsiders from the South. And of course, making a grand return while holding a protest sign in hand. That’s all from me—any questions?
You clearly don't know much about the history of our city. Sure, we hit a bit of a rough patch back in the 60s and 70s—mostly because of all the random crowds moving in—but we moved past it and actually turned the whole thing to our advantage. ☕
Terry Howard7 said:The real issue is that we're talking about a major US club here, and the biggest "problem" is just that the media goes crazy over it because coverage of this team drives clicks and eyeballs. Then you get people like Prlja popping up—I can't even quote him anymore without feeling like I'm repeating myself—complaining about all the focus on the juniors (as if someone's forcing him to talk). But the second things go south for the club, suddenly the media goes into overdrive and everyone starts tearing them apart. It's not "too much coverage" then, is it? No, then they just pile on. Basically, whenever there's negative news about the team, everyone wants to swing for the fences, but if something positive actually happens, suddenly the media should just stay quiet so they don't upset Prlja or the die-hard fans.
Absolutely, I agree. But I don't see what any of this has to do with the seniors being greeted by their rivals, since that's the parallel being drawn here. A much better comparison would be the homecoming for the US National Team.
Don't play dumb. I follow the media closely, and a huge chunk of them—mostly the conservative outlets—can't stand the Eurovision crowd. Even a good portion of the locals feel the same way. So, we're definitely not an outlier here.
Terry Howard7 said:Whatever helps people sleep at night, I guess. But man, this obsession with us is fascinating—especially the way they talk. Like, we followed the junior team on their road trips, we did the welcome home after the finals... honestly, most other fanbases wouldn't give a damn, but here it turns into this massive, overblown drama. And it’s coming from these guys who follow some random local basketball team or a handball club, or those kids playing futsal—nobody cares about them, nobody even comments on their stuff—so why bother? They should probably just go follow their own teams, though that seems pointless too. But the second we follow our juniors, it triggers something deep in their heads. The local hooligans immediately start celebrating a loss in the finals, acting like those old-school diehards from decades ago. You’ve got the hardcore fans meeting everyone at the airport, and then you’ve got this guy flying in here with some nonsense story.🙏🙏
Total psychopaths, really. Such an intense obsession. I’m telling you, if we slip one more spot on the standings next year, the suicide rate in this region might actually spike. And if—by some miracle—we actually win a championship, people will be losing their minds from coast to coast.
Speaking of obsessions—is it actually possible that Bubalo and Urlicicka still haven't said anything about Eurovision today? Or maybe it's just the thousands of frustrated morons flooding the comment sections of major newspapers over what Prle and Sajeta had to say? It's sick. You can only encounter this much backward, thick-headed commentary—mostly from people in their golden years—in certain parts of the country. When you look at the big picture, it’s no wonder you're seen as the definition of provincialism and being stuck in the past.
