Minnesota Timberwolves vs LA Clippers
It’s pretty obvious where this is headed: the Timberwolves have basically fallen out of the playoff picture entirely, while the visitors are steadily climbing into a better position. Given the latest news that Kevin Love will likely be sidelined, this should be a relatively smooth ride for the Clippers.
San Antonio Spurs vs Memphis Grizzlies
Even though the Grizzlies are riding a great streak right now, every hot run eventually hits a wall. And honestly, who better to break it than the Spurs? After yesterday's unexpected stumble against a depleted Lakers squad, they absolutely need to find a win today. The Spurs have taken all three matchups between these two this year, so I'm expecting a complete sweep today.😁
LeBron James over 27.5
LeBron always shows up when he plays the Bulls. His career average against them is an impressive 29 points, and this season he's cruised past the 30-point mark in both of their meetings. I expect him to keep that momentum going; after those recent disappointing losses for the Heat, he’s going to have to step up and carry the load again today.
Blake Griffin over 19.5
The stats tell the story here: he's cleared this line in all three matchups against Minnesota this year (scoring 21, 30, and 26). I'm looking for another big performance today, especially since if Love stays out, his defensive job gets significantly easier, which means fewer foul trouble issues to worry about.
Greg Monroe over 14.5
It's a similar situation to Blake. In their three meetings this year, he has consistently cleared this number (hitting 19, 19, and 16). Since both teams are struggling a bit lately, I'm anticipating a wide-open game with plenty of scoring.
Lou Deng under 17.5
He's going to be preoccupied with defending LeBron, and with Rose returning to the lineup, there are naturally going to be fewer touches for him. We all know his struggles with shooting, so I don't see him hitting the over here.
