Back in January, during the film mutation festival, there was a selection of films from Albania on the schedule. I unfortunately missed the screenings themselves, but I ended up getting completely sucked into an exhibition of their old communist-era movie posters held in the lobby of the European Theater.
It really piqued my curiosity to dig a bit deeper into this subject—which, for me, was a total blank slate. Since I couldn't find much of anything useful online, I decided to cobble together a little article of my own. Sharing it here in case anyone else finds it interesting:

It’s tight, fast-paced, and genuinely gripping. 8.5/10

I have mixed feelings about Amélie. Visually? It’s stunning. The soundtrack? Absolutely beautiful. But if I’m being totally honest, there were moments where the plot and the characters themselves just... rubbed me the wrong way. 🙂It feels almost too calculated in its attempt to be "likable"...

Anyway, here is a bag for all the Amelia wannabes out there... 😉
