The HLA system is essentially the primary complex of tissue compatibility genes in humans 🙂
The heart can keep on thumping for a while even after someone’s head has been completely taken off. Would you honestly bother keeping someone like that alive?
I'm just saying, having a heartbeat isn't exactly a definitive sign that someone is truly living.
The rules regarding organ explantation are actually pretty straightforward and precise; there is absolutely no way they're taking organs from living people. Before any preparation for explantation can even get off the ground, brain death has to be officially declared. Only then do the extensive tests and protocols to confirm brain death kick in, and only after that is everything verified do they approach the next of kin for consent. Once the family gives the green light, the process moves on to tissue typing and assessing the overall condition of the organs slated for transplant. That’s the procedure, plain and simple.
Standardizing or checking if the donor's organ actually matches the potential recipient. Usually, during the prep phase for explantation, they'll pull some blood samples and a lymph node from the groin area of the donor. Obviously, beyond just the basic blood type and Rh factor, there’s a whole laundry list of other factors that determine whether an organ is truly compatible between the donor and the future recipient.
Go ahead and delete it, but it won't change anything—we’ll still be stuck here, grimly preparing people for explantation.
Hey there
Goodnight
Well, no, so what are you going to do now?🙂
See ya!
hmmm
So, what you saying? Does that mean you're coming over to wake me up, brew some coffee, and bring breakfast straight to my bed?
Nah, thanks, but not today. Maybe some other time.👋
I’ve spent a good chunk of my life focused on saving lives, but I have to say, I haven't exactly seen anyone pulling off a penis theft before.
I'm on board with this. Honestly, those people whining about their loved ones having their organs harvested for God knows what kind of twisted purposes—while at the same time their precious departed is being shoved into the dirt to be left to the mercy of worms—are missing the point. In my book, it’s just better if something actually useful gets used to save someone else's life.
