Scott Allen10; look, if you can't wrap your head around what I'm getting at, just skip my posts entirely..😉

My doctor tells me that organ donation is only an option once brain death has been declared—even if the heart is still technically beating. But it makes me wonder: what happens if they get it wrong? What if they declare someone brain dead during that tiny window of time, but they actually aren't?😕 😕
Doctors make mistakes. It’s a fact. They mess up much more basic things all the time, and there are plenty of documented cases where people have actually woken up from states they were supposed to be dead in... those are cold, hard facts...

Wake up and smell the coffee...😕

I am dead serious. I actually know of a case where a guy sat up right out of an open casket while his family and the priest were still hovering over him praying—we're talking just a few hours before the funeral was even set to start...
Look, I’m all for donating—as long as what they’re taking is actually useful, obviously.👍
But honestly? I might just negotiate to have them cut my heart out right now, whether it’s "useful" or not. It’s purely because I am terrified of the sheer possibility that someone might actually wake up after being declared dead. Between medical incompetence and doctors being shaky about when they officially call it, I can't shake the fear of waking up in a casket—trapped, suffocating, and facing what I personally consider the absolute worst way to die.
