Tattoo ideas? in Miscellaneous ·
Thanks, but everything you posted is irrelevant to the topic I already laid out... It needs to include an 'L' or something similar, but I appreciate the effort regardless. These lace details aren't actually a bad idea—one works well, and the other is a solid alternative

I'm thinking the inner wrist. Color doesn't matter much—could be a red rose or just standard black ink.

Here’s the situation. I’m looking to get my first tattoo, something to honor someone who isn't around anymore. It’s for my mother. Her initial is L. I’ve seen a few concepts floating around involving a rose paired with the letter L, which isn't bad, but I'm looking for something more substantial. Any better ideas?

So, how did we manage to insult the Mexicans? Because 🙂 Funny Man, you were being ridiculous, now the dolphins are chirping 😂
Issues with my Levi Strauss & Co. jeans in Miscellaneous ·
Jeans aren't cheap at all. They're going to wear out eventually because of the friction, regardless. It hasn't been a month, but it's been about two months, and since I wear them every single day, maybe that’s part of it too. They cost around $130, which isn't exactly a steal, but I need something durable to layer underneath, so let them wear out. Who knows. Pix.

That's the issue. I’m built almost perfectly. 🙂 I don't have any extra fat on my thighs—just pure muscle.

I figured nobody would have anything to say anyway.

I’ve got an athletic build, which basically means my thighs are thicker than average. Every time I buy a new pair of jeans, they start fraying between my legs within a month because the constant friction just eats through the fabric. It happens with everything—jeans, sweatpants, shorts, even bermudas. I’m not overweight by any stretch, but this is a recurring issue where brand-new clothes just give up on me. Is there a way to fix this? Should I have some reinforcement sewn in, or is there a specific material that can handle the wear? Any advice would be appreciated.
Nothing much to report, folks. No changes yet; I still haven't been able to draw any blood. Maybe it’s a reaction to that dental work I had done ten days ago? I can't say for sure if that's even a possibility. The only things I've changed were my shaving gel and a trip to the dentist, otherwise, it's just the usual routine. As for the itching, it's subsided slightly, but it hasn't stopped.

Skin itching can be localized to one spot or generalized across the entire body. Generally, there are three categories: itching accompanied by visible skin changes, itching without visible changes linked to systemic issues (think diabetes, liver disease, kidney dysfunction, or thyroid disorders), and itching where nothing is visible on the skin and no organ failure is present—likely triggered by psychological factors.

If the current treatment doesn't cut it, you'll need to see a dermatologist. They will likely order a battery of tests, such as a complete blood count, liver panels, kidney function tests, thyroid hormone levels, urinalysis, and stool samples to check for parasites.

Best regards. 🙂

I'm getting my blood drawn tomorrow. Hopefully they haven't closed up for the holiday weekend...
I hope it isn't my blood sugar. It’s always been within range; I had a full blood panel done six months ago. Thanks.

I’ve had Synopen injections and I’m taking one Pressing tablet daily, but nothing is working. My doctor says if this doesn't do the trick—especially the injection—then it's nerve-related. He wants me to see a dermatologist. What do you all think? Can itching be skin-related if there isn't an actual rash?

Check if your skin is just dry first, because personally, I get that itchy, tight feeling everywhere right after I step out of the shower.

My skin is oily. I've always dealt with acne; it's fine now, but the oiliness remains. As for coffee, I drink about three or maybe four cups a day, and have for years—nothing excessive. Bad food? I don't know. I've been on a specific diet for a few months and feel great. How am I supposed to pinpoint a specific food when I eat in moderation and choose what I buy? None of that seems to fit.
I’m losing my mind over this. I can't get an appointment with my doctor for another four days, so does anyone have any ideas? It could easily be some kind of allergy, but why would this suddenly hit me now at 32?
Anyone got any thoughts on this?
Anyone have any ideas on what this could be? For the last two days, I’ve been itching constantly, all over. One minute it's my thigh while I'm sitting, then ten seconds later it moves to my back, then forty seconds later it's some random spot on my arm. There’s never actually anything at the site of the itch. Today I even started tripping out, wondering if it's always hitting the same moles, though sometimes it does. It's driving me insane. Don't give me that nerve damage talk—I know my body, there's nothing wrong with my nerves. And don't tell me it's just "in my head" either. Does anyone actually know what this might be? It itches so bad that the skin turns bright red whenever I scratch it.
