Healthcare, Doctors, and... Money? in Health ·
Jamie Clark74, wishing you nothing but the best! 🙂
Maybe it might be worth giving a hospital over here in the States a call?
We actually have some seriously top-tier neurosurgeons around here.

Seriously—you can grab those $1.75 foam ones at any CVS or Walgreens, if your ears can even handle wearing them while you sleep. I always toss some in whenever I’m camping out or staying somewhere where people are constantly snoring or making all sorts of rustling noises. It isn't like total, dead silence, but it definitely muffles everything down.
Give it a shot👍

p.s. the only thing is, you might wake up a bit more abruptly, since you won't hear those usual little morning sounds
gradually pulling you out of sleep.

Grab those plugs and maybe pick up an extra-loud alarm clock too. Pop the earplugs in, then set the alarm to go off every ten minutes for about two hours before she actually has to get up. Whether you hear the ringing or not, just let it keep going and let her be the one to shut it off each time... and hey, if she starts complaining, just tell her, "Sorry, I've got my earplugs in, I can't hear a thing." 😁
Maybe she'll finally get the hint then😉

I steer clear of rooms that feel totally aired out, I pick cafes with better AC, and I don't hang out in smokers' apartments any more than I used to avoid non-smokers' places..

You can pretty much arrange everything without all the drama...

And non-smokers could just show a little empathy toward smokers who are struggling too... first off, smokers often feel like they HAVE to smoke... they think it’s one of their main sources of pleasure... most people are basically slaves to cigarettes and nicotine... and they actually need some support too...

But what if that room is at work? And nobody gives a damn about your requests or warnings? Especially when everyone there acts like they're all "friends."
The law doesn't really help you out in situations like that. 👎

If you don't smoke, there's a huge chance your friends, acquaintances, or even just random strangers will basically steamroll you because they *do* smoke. It's wild, right?

Just live your life with a HEALTHY AND POSITIVE MINDSET: I am healthy and I’m staying healthy—regardless of whatever negativity people try to throw my way.
That’s how you train your Memory to signal your cells to stay healthy!

I mean, seriously, give me just one good reason why I should suffer for like 9 hours a day (sometimes even longer!) stuck in a room filled with smoke? Honestly, the mentality in this country is just totally backwards—everyone looks at us non-smokers like we're the ones being difficult or "ruining the vibe" just because we aren't joining in. Can you believe that? And all the stuff where my hair, my skin, and my clothes end up smelling like cigarettes... or when I wash my hair and the water turns brown... nobody cares about that. Think about how much toxin actually gets into my system. So why would I ever take that risk? Sure, maybe some people don't get cancer, but why on earth would I want to increase my own odds? 😲 😠
Why should I have to put up with some arrogant smoker?
If you wanna smoke so bad, just stay at your own house! 😠 😠 😠
