Effects of secondhand smoke
in Health ·
Look, if you’re hanging out with someone who starts lighting up, just ask them to stop. Simple, right? If they flat-out refuse, then honestly, they probably don't give a damn about you or your health. And if that's the case... why are you even wasting your time with someone like that in the first place?
If you're planning on hitting up some dive bar where the air is basically pure nicotine, give the owner a heads-up. If they don't eventually carve out a non-smoking section, then they clearly don't care about their customers. Why bother showing up to a place like that at all?
It’s all about how you handle it—keep it civil. If every non-smoker actually stood their ground like this, the number of smokers would eventually drop. At least we'd see fewer new people picking up the habit, right?🙂
Bottom line: if you don't look out for yourself, nobody else is going to do it for you.
And let's be real here—being a smoker doesn't mean you're getting lung cancer tomorrow. NO. It just means you're cranking up the odds.
