It’s mostly because of the recession, I guess. There just aren't nearly as many shops to hit up this year compared to before—places like Top Sport, King Cross, Mandi, and stuff like that...
Timothy Wilson60 said:Hey everyone—quick question! Does anyone know where I can pick up some Bayern Munich gear here in Washington, D.C., besides just the jerseys? Honestly, I'm down for anything—a t-shirt, a scarf, a mug, a hat, whatever...
Thanks in advance!
You could probably find a shirt, a scarf, a windbreaker, or tracksuits at an Adidas store near Times Square... they usually carry Real Madrid, AC Milan, Liverpool, and Chelsea stuff too.
I guess he’s just trying to look the part. Seriously though, take a look at that Inter jersey with the snake on it... it shows two stars, even though Inter has won 18 titles by now. Weird.
The Dutch bench is absolutely abysmal!!!!!! The Germans look incredible!!! Our reserves are just as bad as they were 6 or 7 years ago, I guess.
The new Man Utd kit looks great!!!! Thank God they finally got rid of that black stripe... same goes for PSG too
Why would Biden go with red... I mean, look at our players, they're basically going to be playing like matadors in a bullring
nah, nothing else matters... just Inter, Juve, Milan, and Italy
I guess you won't find any English jerseys at the Union Station shops... it's nothing but Italian brands there...

That's pretty much it—just those three clubs and their national team. I doubt they'll pick up anything new since King of Western Avenue is closing in six months. I tried looking for that Inter jersey with the cross pattern, but no luck, I guess.

Nice jersey, I guess. It has a decent retro vibe.👍
In case anyone cares, they just marked down this season's jerseys at Dick's Sporting Goods by 50%. They've got stuff from the Yankees, Juve, Milan... even some of Inter's black and blue kits from last year, plus those beige ones. Prices are $83 right now. Oh, and they have the Italian national team gear too, though it's not the newest set—just the kit from the last qualifiers
mellowowl38 said:$250 for a legit Nike jersey right now? Yeah, good luck with that. Last time I actually shelled out for one (I think it was that 2007 Boston Celtics anniversary kit), Nike was all about $150...
I suppose it really depends on where you shop. The prices at places like Dick's Sporting Goods are always high, and over at Cisalf, those Italy national team jerseys have been stuck at the same discount for two years straight; I remember because I picked one up at Fred's. Ross is pricey too, though a jersey from last season might be $83, depending on if they're doing 30% or 50% off. About 7 or 8 months ago, I finally found that blue American jersey we've been wearing everywhere for $80, even though it was originally $160. I had to drive halfway across town to find it, though.

Does anyone know which shops in Washington, D.C. carry them? Please let me know if you have any leads—I am honestly completely lost here. Thanks!
You can find them at plenty of places around town. For instance, ROST SPORT over near the local sports arena usually has a good variety of national team gear and they can do custom printing. I think they even have a deal going on where you get two if you buy one since the new kit just dropped. Then there's TOP SPORT downtown, or just hit up any Nike stores. Just a heads up though, be careful where you shop—you probably shouldn't be paying more than $83 for an authentic jersey. There you go.👍

Maybe try checking out Cisalf over near King Cross... I think they have a decent selection of Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter Milan gear, plus some Italian national team stuff and training kits. Might be worth a shot if you're looking for jerseys or shirts.
I’ve been hunting for it too... I swear it was still in that shop over on Bogov just six months ago. I actually picked up one of those retro polo shirts there about two years back—the one with the cross and the Ambrosian branding from when the team used to go by that name back in the day. It’d be a shame if they stopped making them, though; I think they were a special run for the club's centennial, and the players wore those exact kits during that era.

Nah, probably not... they don't carry much besides Nike and a few clubs using Adidas. I think the mall has plenty of Puma stuff, but it's mostly for the Italian national team. Maybe there's a Puma shop across from that old church nearby, but I'm just guessing.

The design is pretty spot on... probably the best kit Inter has ever released outside of their usual black and blue.
