The Armada

There had to be at least 100 people there. What were you even doing? Why didn't those hooligans show up???

Hey everyone, just checking in! Hope you're all having an awesome week. kaže:
A hundred? Honestly... felt more like maybe 40 or 50 to me.
You guys seemed alright to me... but man, that drum setup in the arena was pretty mid. The drummer just kept pounding away the whole time, and honestly? I couldn't hear a single damn word.🤷
Sean Brooks said:If that’s really how it goes... then with all due respect, he ought to have at least a little common sense... but looking at what's actually on paper, I'm not seeing it happening at all.
So, are those clowns back in action yet, or are they still banned from the stands?

Seriously though, aren't you guys all tied to this club? Or have you just become obsessed with your own little egos, basically playing your own separate game while these hacks on the field absolutely embarrass the jersey? Is it all just an attempt to flex on the other fan groups?
Yeah, we're talking about the Navy, specifically the San Francisco Navy.
Robert Adams6 said:The crowd at the USA game was huge because people actually wanted to see their club grab another trophy. It wasn't just some formality for a team that’s bagged 5 titles in its 65-year history.!
Cleveland plays in a small stadium—maybe 6 or 7k capacity. If we had 9k people showing up against the Dinamo back in 2008, maybe... but even then, like 2,000 of those 9,000 were the hardcore ultras.
The Armada shows up regardless of how the team is playing, and honestly, that's the whole point of this thread....

You can take that straight to the bank, because it’s total nonsense. The real issue is that everyone has their own little "special reasons" for skipping the games, and honestly, most of those excuses are just plain stupid.

Also, I know plenty of people who completely lost interest in the MLS and everything tied to it after that 1999 season.
Sean Brooks said:I see people bringing up songs, so I figured I’d jump in:
-My heart's silent suffering...
-For you, I'd buy shining pearls from the deep blue sea...
I don't think anyone else brought these up on previous pages...they're the first to mention them...and man, those tracks are top-tier...also "Because of Her I'm Overjoyed," "We Stand in the West," and "Man, I Love San Francisco"...
Sadly, they aren't exactly mainstream on YouTube or any big forums, so a lot of folks don't even know the pirate songs. Personally, I think their originality puts them even ahead of the Ultras and us... I went to Ocean Beach a few times for regular games (not against LA Galaxy) and honestly, they're the only ones in the American scene with that specific vibe and soul. Even if there aren't many of them, they're always at the top for me...where else are the San Francisco fans hiding?😍
And when it comes to the San Francisco style, the king is the greatest...😁
Matthew Newman83 said:So, that song "I'd be lost without bourbon"... that one's basically your anthem, isn't it??😍😍😍
William Ward3 said:👍 honestly, I'm more into that girl standing behind the flags... looks like a young lady to me 👏 It’s pretty cool seeing some girls hanging out in the forums too.. does anyone happen to have a clear shot of that flag?
Alex Campbell54 said:Like I mentioned in a previous post that some moderator nuked 🙂 who even are you anyway?
Hajduk didn't blow the title on that specific game. They blew it a week earlier when they lost to the underdog team back at their home stadium. By the time our match kicked off at 3:00 PM, the other guys had already cruised to an easy win, so the championship was basically decided before we even stepped on the field. Honestly, the whole "lost it because of this game" argument just doesn't hold water.
And now, talking to those folks from Seattle, they’re trying to act all high and mighty, saying we were just delusional and hoping for too much. Look, man, maybe we were optimistic. We hoped the underdog would actually put up a fight like they did the week before. It's the same way we thought Seattle might actually show some life playing in their stadium two weeks ago, but they just got absolutely rolled—took four goals and didn't even draw a single yellow card. 😕
One last question for the fanbase:
Why didn't you guys just scream "Champions!" at the end of the message?
It's pretty obvious whose side you're on. You're sucking up to the exact same crowd that screwed you over back in '99. You proved it with that ridiculous celebration after Sharbiniev scored his second goal, acting like that meaningless game actually mattered.
