Tattoo removal advice?

Hi everyone... sorry for barging in like this, but I just stumbled upon this thread and it’s something I am incredibly interested in. I really want to get tattooed, but I have several keloids on my back. My dermatologist strongly advises against both piercings and tattoos, but she isn't exactly cutting-edge and I’m honestly not thrilled with her approach. From what I've heard from older folks, this issue tends to subside over time, meaning you could potentially get work done as long as you're being careful. Anyway... does anyone know of a specific dermatologist's website or a reputable tattoo studio where I could ask this kind of question, or perhaps someone here who actually knows their stuff regarding this?
