It leads to questions about whether the West might have actually fueled the war. Or it brings up the damage Western politicians cause to their own citizens through irresponsible and reckless handling of the entire situation. But nobody cares about any of that. It is more important to pose with a Ukrainian flag, make noise, throw out labels, and categorize dissenters based on subjective whims. Then, you get to play policeman and act as the ultimate moral authority. It's like Kadija suing you while Kadija also sits in judgment of you.
So what exactly did Canada do to get the Commission threatening to pull their funding?

There are certain dogmas on this forum that are basically untouchable. Honestly, I could list them all right now just by looking at my own ban history.

NATO’s already made it clear they aren't stepping in, which honestly is the only kind of help that actually matters, but if they did, we'd be staring down the barrel of WW3. All these sanctions, shipping off weapons, and those big, empty speeches at fancy summits don't really change much on the ground. What else are we supposed to do to make sure we don't screw this up the same way?

The Canadian proposal makes sense because everyone wants peace, but of course, that assumes we just let Russia stop right at the Donbas.
