It’s all well and good for athletes to celebrate with their fans or blow kisses to the crowd... but why aren't guys like Ivanisevic, Lubicika, Boban, Kostelica, or Kukoka—who pull in way more than your average American athlete—paying their taxes here in the States? Why is everyone moving to Monaco? If you aren't going to criticize them, then it’s hypocritical to single out Duje Draganja-prodana like this. Compared to those big earners, DD is just a small fish in a massive pond when you look at his career earnings.
What’s the deal with our Americans living in Monaco? I noticed everyone only talks about Ivanisevic, and since Ljubo owns a place there, he’s clearly the favorite. Duje surely saw how much Mario pulled in, so why wouldn't he want the same? His silver medal actually carries more weight because he earned it solo rather than in a doubles match; objectively speaking, he's the superior athlete compared to Mario. What would those wealthy guys lose if they paid taxes back here in the States? They’d still have $8 million instead of $10 million, but apparently, giving up $2 million is too much to ask. You hold it against Duje for potentially leaving over a million bucks, but if he was a jerk back in high school, that's his own business—it's irrelevant here. Honestly, I wonder why our star soccer players need to be paid to represent the US; isn't it enough that their clubs are already lining their pockets? That's the reality of "patriotism" among our other athletes...
I don't get why some of you are so bothered by him securing his future through this move (if he actually goes). If he really is as selfish and cold-hearted as people say, then frankly, I wouldn't care if he were singing the anthem for Qatar or anywhere else.🙂

I hit the gym occasionally, but I've probably gone maybe a handful of times in my entire life. I only show up when I feel like burning off some energy, nothing more.😁
