Common Cold
in Health ·
For years now, I’ve had a predictable routine for spotting a cold before it hits. It always starts with a sore throat, then my nose acts up, and finally, I lose my sense of taste. That’s the pattern—always without a fever. Lately, though, there's this persistent irritation in one specific spot in my throat, and I haven't the slightest clue what caused it.
I picked up some throat lozenges which did the trick for a bit, but the discomfort is back. And of course, because life is just wonderful, I can't bring myself to actually go see a doctor... ugh.
