Gregory Chavez said:Why do you people keep coming at me all these years with this "who's dividing us" nonsense when I have absolutely nothing to do with those types?

I come from a completely different background entirely. 🤣

By the way,
why are you acting so offended just because I asked—in a perfectly polite and civil manner—what on earth possessed these idiots to show up in such massive numbers to protest some moron being sidelined over racist slogans?

And where exactly is this "melting pot" looking? Toward New York or toward some small town in the Midwest? Don't be silly, you all belong to the same crowd. 😁

Yeah, I did feel insulted. Maybe if some polite, decent guy from a truly classy country asked me something like that, I might have felt embarrassed for my own people. But since I can't think of any country that isn't dealing with its own mess, and your little faction within the country doesn't fit my idea of "decent" either, I just don't get it. Every time some outsider comes along asking what's wrong with us or what we're doing, I'm supposed to feel ashamed and explain to you that we aren't actually like that.🙄

But honestly, maybe we are, and maybe worse. We've been fighting amongst ourselves and dealing with corruption for ages. But man, let me tell you, it makes my stomach turn when people from the outside act like they want to "help" us find the right path, or when people here try to justify it using those same excuses...

The same logic would apply to Germans, the British, the French, or anyone else—you've got your own problems to deal with. So, when you say, "But you're a Mexican," just forget it. That's not the point. 😉

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head there, but honestly, who's going to divide us anyway? 🤣 😁

Of course, just like always, we're nowhere near the center of things, but hey, go ahead and be the victim if you want. 😁

Bata popped in to stir up some trouble on Offside Chat, and honestly, back in the day, the old crew would’ve shut him down immediately—his politics, his rhetoric, all of it. But instead, you guys are just sitting here sucking up and cheering him on. 🙄

Just bow down, I guess. 😉

I don't think he understands how thousands of people feel, and frankly, I don't get a lot of things either—like where everyone stands on the other side of the border or all those nastier issues. Still, I've never felt the urge to jump onto those foreign forums to ask them what their deal is, not even just for kicks or out of boredom. That’s just me, I guess. ☕

And yeah, sure, go ahead and attack Thompson since he's the first thing mentioned, then move on to the historical factions, the rebels, the partisans... just keep fighting amongst yourselves over left versus right until you finally conclude that politics is a mess and someone is dividing us, for the five millionth time. 🙏

Gregory Chavez said:I don't want this to look like I'm just protecting my own, and frankly, I feel bad for any Orthodox priest involved—but does singing a Royalist song really justify thousands of people taking to the streets in protest?

Also, is it actually illegal under U.S. law to sing or glorify the Royalists?

Btw,
from what I can tell, the guy with the beard is a Washington, D.C. priest. He barely even opens his mouth. You can practically see how uncomfortable he is.

Yeah, we basically tamed him a bit so he won't dare sing, otherwise he would 😉

If you ask me, do those songs really have to be sung, especially by church officials? It's not that I'm defending those thousands of protesters, but 🙄

Anthony Jackson2 said:You're missing the point because your entire argument starts from a flawed premise. They didn't attack because of religion, they didn't attack because we're "infidels," and it's not some grand scheme to Islamize us (?). The attack wasn't about faith—it was driven by other factors that you, Emily Ward3, that wannabe comedian Ken, and the rest of you seem determined to ignore, which is exactly what this thread has been debating for three days now.
They use religious rhetoric because the people pulling their strings have brainwashed them into thinking there’s a reward waiting in paradise—but that isn't why the attack happened.

For three days now, you've been bashing Islam, yet you conveniently forget how many people have been slaughtered in the name of Christianity—and you also forget that "peaceful" Christians in this country have only managed to nearly wipe each other out twice in the last century.

Besides, when you start quoting the Old Testament—all those lovely verses about forgiveness and peace...🙄

No, Islam isn't inherently violent, just as Christianity or Buddhism aren't—even though millions have died in the name of all three. Why? Because there are enough corrupt people in this world to twist any belief system to serve their own petty interests. Attacking Islam is an insult to the millions of people who have lived peacefully in America for generations under that "violent" faith.

Personally, I don't think religion does anyone any good, but I can understand why some people need it. Still, seeing one religion like Christianity being placed on a pedestal above all others—it's honestly nauseating.

I guess they just need a little reality check, maybe a bit of fun while they're still around, you know? Like, instead of all this, they should just enjoy life while they can. It might make things feel a bit better than obsessing over bombs or religious stuff. I don't know, maybe it's just how it is. 🙂

All these psychopathic issues seem to come back to basic instincts, either it's performance anxiety or just a total lack of drive
,and that happens because they aren't listening to nature. Plus, I've heard Americans have more passion than others, whereas some people just seem totally uninspired ☕

neonfox12, I'm not really sure why you're getting so worked up at the moderators on the football board. I guess their actions are just a result of how we all behave as users, though maybe you don't want to talk about what actually causes it.

Maybe think of us like the Titanic, where the moderators and everyone else are basically the tip of the iceberg. Why does the Titanic—which is us, in this scenario—keep sinking over and over? I suppose it's because we just don't want to look at the hidden part of the iceberg...

And honestly, how did you come to terms with the fact that Real Madrid is the way they are? They're still your team, yet you won't lift a finger to change anything; you'd rather just sit around debating beer and tactics. I guess if you can accept that, you could probably apply that same logic to the forum.😉 ☕

I mean, just six years ago, he was being laughed at, and I guess Goluža is in the same boat right now.

Maybe you're saying Goluža will be the big hero in six years too? 😁

So, Goble is claiming we knew exactly where we stood before the tournament started. Can anyone actually dig up what "situation" he’s talking about? What does that even mean? Honestly, he's such an idiot, I kind of want to chuck my remote at him from the stands 👍

It's just pure fluff. It’s always the same stuff—we have a certain temperament, you know how we are, we just had bad luck, hats off to us anyway, we'll be better next time, look at our rising stars, blah blah blah. It’s all nonsense. Seriously, no matter what sport you try to watch, you always run into those same types of guys who act tough, but their IQ is basically zero. They actually have the nerve to tell me that my critical thinking is somehow being rude 🙏 🙏

I'm honestly thinking about just quitting sports altogether. It’s getting pretty gross

Yeah, I guess this happens every single year. It’s not really anything new or even surprising, honestly. Maybe hitting up the casino floor over these kinds of nonsense is the only way people around here actually learn something.🙂
Man, that goal to make it 22-22... I guess teams in France just wouldn't let that happen. Over there, once they see someone charging in from nine yards out, they start fouling inside the box immediately. But our guys? They’d probably just head out for some breakfast burritos and leave 🙂
wide open.

Patrick Wright2 said:In my entire life, I haven't seen an American squad this bad. Not in terms of roster or how they actually play. Their offense moves like they're stuck in molasses, and I honestly can't believe they don't have even a single set play or any outside player crossovers, nothing at all.

I mean, what am I supposed to say? Do you see us playing soccer? It's always the same thing—boring, slow, and just frustrating. I guess sometimes we get lucky and have a great game, or things go right because a few players are feeling inspired and hyped up, but long-term, it just doesn't work. We just can't, maybe because our coaching is totally lacking, and that’s just how it is.

So Goluža claims we just didn't have luck and didn't run enough... man, I swear, he makes himself look so clueless sometimes. 🤮

Timothy Kim60 said:So, it's working fine for him? I guess if you can actually download the drivers without issues on his machine, then the card is probably okay and maybe there's just something going on with your setup.

I mean, I don't know, it doesn't really seem likely that an antivirus would block graphics drivers... that would have to be some pretty crappy software, I suppose.😬

But that's on his computer, so I guess that might be the issue. I think I saw a prompt asking if I wanted to allow some .ccc file to access memory—it was part of those Catalyst files. Does that sound logical to you? Because once I hit allow, everything seems to be working fine for now without any trouble.😬

Timothy Kim60 said:It definitely isn't too powerful; your old one was probably way more demanding on the power supply and stuff like that.

Maybe it would be a good idea to try plugging it into a different PC just to see if it works normally there.

I mean, I'm thinking maybe the issue is actually the antivirus? Is that even possible? My brother uses Webroot, and when I disabled it right as Windows was booting up, everything seemed totally fine.🤷

If you're planning on going online with that PC to download Driver Sweeper, then I guess you should probably pick Safe Mode with Networking

Oh, I also forgot to mention—before you run Driver Sweeper, you might want to try deleting the drivers the old-fashioned way first (like through the Control Panel's add/remove programs), and then let Driver Sweeper clean up whatever is left over

In the end, I couldn't actually get into Safe Mode, but after resetting a few times, Windows finally started working again. I followed everything you said, but now it just resets right after I install the drivers... it keeps freezing on the desktop screen. What should I do now? I don't know if maybe the graphics card is too powerful or if some kid messed with it or something😢 🙂
