Just caught this flick earlier today—what did you guys think? Honestly, the acting from Ben Kingsley, Jennifer Connelly, and Shoreh Aghdashloo totally blew me away. But hey, when you’ve got heavyweights like that on screen (especially Ben), you pretty much expect nothing less than perfection. It gets a little too sappy toward the end for my taste, but even so, the rating is still sky-high. Thoughts?

You know how it goes—once you cross that line, it just turns into pure kitsch. Whatever. Anyway, maybe go find a real job, girl, and write a script for Gothika 2. Mozda you can actually pitch it in Hollywood.

One line like "sotona ja poj..." from Chloe and all that garbage... honestly, this person on the forum hit the nail on the head. This whole thing feels like some low-budget indie flick from the late 80s, but even those cheap productions would be embarrassed by this trash. And that girl's spirit? Total joke. If she’s whining through the entire movie, why did her muse need Halle Berry's body to fix her up? She could've done it herself. But hey, she was probably as dim-witted as the script. And that kid at the end... absolute chaos. I have no idea why The New York Times gave it such a glowing review; meanwhile, Beat and Click were saying the script has more holes in it than a block of Swiss cheese. It's rare for me to agree with critics, but they're right on this one. Seriously, that kid at the end was just pure mayhem. The only horror movie stupider than this is Prognoiti with Catherine Zeta-Jones. Such a shame because that haunted house actually looked pretty cool...

I’ve been scrolling through the web, from IMDb to basically every other movie forum out there, and you’re the only one who actually had the guts to defend the logic behind this absolute masterpiece of modern cinema. Honestly, I can't wrap my head around how movies like *21 Grams* or *Gothik* are being charged the same price... but hey, I guess there's a sucker born every minute, right? Let's stay optimistic about that.

You really think the director was trying to pay homage to all those horror legends? If he wanted to do that, he should’ve actually acted like one of them—you know, by making actual horror and a plot that doesn't fall apart instantly. Instead, we get second-rate special effects and zero logic. Seriously, you can figure out who the killer is within the first 15 minutes, and the plot holes are big enough to drive a freight train through. Honestly, I’m totally with that critic from Empire who said the creepiest thing about this movie is how modern Hollywood can take a solid premise and turn it into the biggest, most pathetic pile of trash imaginable. And don't even get me started on the ending—how did Chloe Sava just bolt in a taxi right after her treatment? Also, since when does a jury let someone off just because they were possessed by a ghost? It's nonsense, it's ineffective, and it's an insult to anyone's intelligence. As for Halle, she basically proved that winning an Oscar didn't exactly help her pick better projects. And that ending was just stupid... I mean, as a self-proclaimed expert on twisted psyches, how did Mrs. Berry not realize she was living with a complete lunatic?

So, I finally sat through this absolute garbage yesterday. Anyone else catch it? Honestly, the movie is a total train wreck—just a messy, failed mashup of sixth sense, Stir of Echoes, and every other horror cliché under the sun. The title is probably the only good thing about the whole experience. I’m dying to know if anyone actually liked it, because I was miserable.
