Is it actually worth it?

Every time you accept a paycheck, you are implicitly agreeing to a set of terms and conditions that, in my estimation, are fundamentally at odds with the concept of true liberty. At least, they aren't compatible with the way I personally experience freedom—which, if I’m being honest, usually happens only when I successfully manage to rid myself of every last cent. 😉
Is there actually anything special about venting on an online forum? I find myself wondering if a platform like this holds any more weight than just grabbing a coffee with friends, chatting in a school hallway, or shooting the breeze at the office. To me, it all seems fundamentally the same. It’s just people talking. At least, that’s my take on it, based on what I’ve seen and experienced over the years. ☕
In the end, aren't you essentially just turning that criticism back on yourself? 🙂
Personally, I’ve come to the conclusion that money holds very little intrinsic value to me—and quite frankly, I find it hard to say the same about my own worth. 🙂
Since I've dealt with social anxiety for years, this forum is pretty much my only real way to communicate (not counting social media), and since I've never really been the type to hang out and chat in coffee shops, I wouldn't know how that works anyway.
And I don't think there's anything wrong with being self-critical.
I suppose if I actually had enough money—and I don't mean a standard salary, but like, millions of dollars—I might be able to work through this social phobia. But who knows? I'm mostly broke most of the time and still relying on my parents.😁
