Brain aneurysm: What are your experiences?
in Health ·
I am seeking the perspective of someone with clinical expertise in this area, or perhaps someone who has navigated a similar situation firsthand.
I was performing an MR angiography of the intracranial arteries.
The report states: In the proximal portion of the left MCA M1 segment, there is a sac-like lumen dilation measuring approximately 8 mm, characterized by significantly diminished signal, which most likely represents an aneurysm.
My specific question concerns the scale of this finding; specifically, I am trying to determine the actual diameter of the middle cerebral artery itself so that I might better contextualize the size of the aneurysm in relation to the vessel.
I would truly appreciate any guidance you could offer.
