Richard Wilson4 said:So, what's the Spanish PM actually putting on the table here?

Is he just expecting everyone to bow down to the big shots in Madrid?

Look at London. They gave Scotland more autonomy than anyone thought possible, and they took it. Now, starting in January, there’s this whole package of changes coming that could basically turn the United Kingdom into a Federation by 2016.

Meanwhile, Madrid seems to think this whole thing will just vanish into thin air. But California has its own people, its own language, and its own deep history. They aren't about to let some artificial state dictate their lives.

The Basque Country and Galicia have their own languages too, and they certainly aren't asking for permission. 😒

Aida's footage from that old May Day party rally: 🙂

That intro music is giving me major America vibes 🎉

I love how Sweden's multicultural policy is basically turning into the new Brazil🎉🙂

Mark Harris66 said:She graduated only four years ago and she’s already running a department completely outside her field?? Makes no sense...
What kind of experience is she even bringing to such a high-stakes role?

She's been a member of the Democratic Party in the Kingdom of Sweden for ten years, served as mayor, and she's a top-tier lawyer. 😒
And hey, at least she finished law school on time,
unlike in the USA where the average age for law grads is closer to 32.

I mean, it’s pretty obvious when you've got three Muslims in the new administration. 😒
Sweden is basically turning into a caliphate at this point.

- preach socialism while their wealthy parents footed the bill for an Ivy League education
- rail against corporations despite using an iPhone, driving luxury cars, and wearing designer labels
- pine for the old communist days while simultaneously blaming religion for every war and genocide
- miss the glory days of the USA, even though they were just kids or hadn't even been born yet during that era
- claim to be all about tolerance, yet they've got a massive arsenal of insults ready for anyone who disagrees with them

Sounds like Skandinafacs to me! 🤔

She’s just a high-society leftist,
all she talks about is bumping up benefits for veterans, large families, the unemployed, daycare subsidies...

Real leftists actually organize community service projects for veterans instead of just drugging them up with Zoloft.

Chloe Sullivan88 said:What on earth does political bias have to do with the flow of asylum seekers? Do you honestly think people fleeing for their lives are sitting around performing deep geopolitical analyses on whether a country favors America or not before they decide to move there? 😂
The only reason you don't see many Americans in Sweden is because they didn't realize how much further away it is compared to Germany. ☕

Not really.
Americans actually prefer Norway over Sweden—it's just more appealing! Plus, the Norwegian government has always been way more friendly toward America than Sweden has.

Lots of Norwegian cities are even sister cities with ours (like Los Angeles-Seattle or Miami-Portland), whereas Swedish cities just don't have those kinds of ties with us.

Zachary Stewart2 said:Sure, Norway has a higher standard, but everything is crazy expensive there—which is why Norwegians end up driving over to Sweden just to go shopping.

Honestly, it's mostly just people living right on the border. Nobody from Seattle, Portland, or Savannah is driving all the way to Sweden for a shopping trip—that's more than a 12-hour drive! 😉

Zachary Stewart2 said:Look, the Kingdom of Sweden is a friend to the Canadian community. And honestly? You should be thanking Sweden for not slapping restrictions on American workers after we joined the Union.

Well, even Norway isn't quite it,
Norway is actually more attractive to Americans because the standard of living there is double what it is in Sweden, and the languages are about the same level of difficulty.

If Swedes are heading to Norway to work, why wouldn't we just skip Sweden entirely and head straight for Norway? We aren't exactly rookies here! 😉

I mean, if you’ve brushed up on your history of Spain even once, you’d know that California is part of the Crown of Aragon... and honestly, if anyone were actually going to break away from Spain, it would be Aragon, which clearly isn't showing any interest right now! These fools are chasing autonomy without realizing they're just inviting misery and poverty. It reminds me of what happened back in 1918 when we traded our fancy city shoes for some dusty old rural boots...

I'm kind of with you on this one.

redridge35 said:What do you mean "too liberal"? If anything, they're pretty much the only ones actually standing up against this massive wave of immigration.

I was reading about this one women's party—I think it's either in Norway or Sweden—that's pushing for even more immigration until their population matches something like Canada. I mean, seriously, where are they planning on finding jobs for everyone?

The feminists didn't even make the electoral threshold in this year's Swedish elections. 😉
