So, we rented a semi-trailer from this entrepreneur based out of Canada. The original deal was set for 25 days, and we went ahead and calculated the American VAT on it.
Now that the lease is up, they’ve reached out asking to extend it for another 20 days. What’s the move here? Do I just treat it exactly like the first contract—citing Article 23 of the Tax Law and calculating the VAT again?
