Sometimes I feel like the only way to keep my sanity is to just dive into the absolute chaos of these random threads. Does anyone else find themselves scrolling through the weirdest corners of the internet just to decompress after work?

I did that, if you mean the BIOS battery... I checked Device Manager, uninstalled the drivers, nothing worked. It just boots straight into Windows, but there's zero image on the monitor. Just a black screen.

I guess there are only about four motherboards out there that actually use the K8M890 AM2 chipset.

The card works fine in my friend's computer though..

I guess the slots are the same, but this serial number doesn't match the one in the picture.

So, a few days ago I picked up a card with 512MB of VRAM..
This GainForce 8500 GT I got wouldn't even work, so I'm wondering about my setup here:

AMD Sempron 3200+ 1.8 GHz
2GB RAM
Motherboard: Foxconn
Model🙂8M890-8237A

Since that one failed, does anyone know which GPU would actually be compatible? I just need something with at least 512MB of memory... any suggestions would be appreciated, I guess.
