Perform this meditation at your own risk!!! It is absolutely not recommended for anyone dealing with mental health issues!!!

Stare at the portrait until drowsiness starts to take over. Keep your gaze fixed right on his eyes. At some point, it will feel like they are expanding, pulling your consciousness inward until you feel like you’ve actually stepped inside his head. From there, two paths open up—one leading down and one leading up. If you choose to descend, you'll experience a sensation of aerial vortices that can hit with the force of a storm. As you enter the dark channel beneath Lam's mouth, your spirit will be swallowed by total darkness, and instead of wind, you’ll hear the rushing sound of a torrent. Water swirls around you until a flash of brilliant light, like a bolt of lightning, pierces through an oily, shifting liquid. You'll see images of an octopus-like being whose tentacles represent the branching tunnels beneath Lam's mouth. Then comes a sudden lull where a blurry, cephalopod-like creature appears before your eyes. In this state, contact can be established via the network of tunnels branching downward toward the base of Lam, which serves as the source of his sexual lightning. This will trigger a violent vortex in your consciousness, scattering it into countless shapes before immediately merging it back into a single point of light between Lam's eyes, right in the area of the Third Eye. From there, a flame of light shoots upward, spreading through the upper part of your skull in a blinding, infinite radiance. At that moment, you should vibrate the mantra IPSOS or LAMIPSO, depending on whether the tunnels are ascending or descending.

Yeah, but I don't see... anywhere in this, any claim that Lam and Aiwass are the same thing.😕 Isn't the mantra:
Lam!
The Voice of Silence,
Glyph of Hoor-paar-kraat:
The Dwarf-Self, the Hidden God.
Gateway to Maat!
I evoke Thee! I evoke Thee!
With the mantra Talam-Malat,
Talam-Malat,
Talam-Malat ..

So, here’s what Grant is saying

Grant has also been quoted as Making The following statements - Lam is known to be a link between The star Systems of Sirius and Andromeda - Lam is The Gateway to The Void

- Lam acts as a bridge connecting the star systems of Sirius
and Andromeda

- Lam serves as the portal to the Void. Its numeric value, 71, represents
"NoThing," a sort of phantom presence

- Lam is the occult force broadcasting the vibrations of Maat and
might originate from that upcoming aeon

- Lam, acting as a Great Old One, possesses an archetype clearly reflected in
reports regarding UFO pilots

- "...therein am I as a babe in an egg" AL.II.49

- Lam has been called upon to carry out the mission initiated by Aiwass;
acting essentially as a reflection of Aiwass

- Lam functions as the transmitter to AL, sending the vibrations of LA through MA,
which is the master key to the Aeon of Maat

- Aeon of Maat - Crowley considered Lam to be The Soul of a dead lama of l = EAng,
located between China and Tibet http://www.virtuallystrange.net/ufo/.../m05-002.shtml

Leviathan said:It's just like how Alan Watts mentioned it in a letter to H. P. Blavatsky.
I mean, why wouldn't I take his word for it?

Any chance you could drop a link to that letter?

...Yeah, someone actually asked where the image was first published—Aleister Crowley was the only one to include the picture in his Dead Souls exhibition over in Greenwich, New York City. But the thing is, the image served as an illustration for H. P. Blavatsky's book, "The Voice of The Silence," and Blavatsky actually wrote right under the picture: "
Lam is The Tibetan Word for Way or Path , and LAMA is He Who Goeth , The specific Titl of The Gods of Egypt , The Treader of The Path , in Buddhistic
phraseology.

Spirals on both sides.

Three large circles and three small ones... if you look at how they’re positioned, it almost feels like a nod to the Tree of Life as a model of The Spiritual Universe.

It’s actually pretty surprising when you think about it, especially since they’re leaning so heavily on the Tree of Life as a model of The Spiritual Universe.
When we talk about the spiritual universe, there’s a certain inevitability to how we perceive it. If you take the approach of using the Tree of Life as a model of The Spiritual Universe, you’re essentially setting a specific lens in place. It’s like looking through a telescope versus a microscope; once you pick your tool, your entire field of vision changes. In this framework, using the Tree of Life inevitably means that you will see Lam and Aiwass as alien spirits fra another Universe , and that The Greys arrived in UFOs. It’s an easy logical leap to make when you're working within those specific geometries. However, we have to be careful not to get lost in the metaphor. The truth is that Lam and Aiwass and The Greys ara spirits in this Universe. They aren't outsiders peering in from some distant galaxy; they are part of the fabric of our own reality, just perhaps operating on a frequency we aren't used to tuning into.
Using The Tree of Life inevitably means that you will see Lam and Aiwass as alien spirits fra another Universe , and that The Greys arrived in UFOs. But let's be real here—the truth is that Lam and Aiwass and The Greys ara spirits in this Universe. It’s like looking at a map of the subway system and thinking the tracks exist in a different dimension just because they don't follow the surface streets. They're right here under our feet, part of the same fabric we're all woven into.
Using The Tree of Life inevitably means that you will see Lam and Aiwass as alien spirits fra another Universe , and that The Greys arrived in UFOs. The truth is that Lam and Aiwass and The Greys ara spirits in this Universe.
This universe—it’s simply that they have been around for an incredibly long time...

Anyway... which book actually features the image of Lam, what does the accompanying text say, and what kind of explanations does he provide?🙄

All I know for sure is that the image of Lam was created back in 1919, and Aleister Crowley passed the original over to Kenneth Grant in 1945. From there, Grant established a cult centered around Lam - Dikpal - The Way of Silence within the Ordo Templi Orientis. Word is that certain members actually had contact with him, and they're currently putting together more detailed accounts in their journal, "Stirfire."...

For the most part, Crowley didn't really write about him....

There's a link in my previous post containing Grant's statement and his breakdown regarding the image... take a look at that.

My only real urge is to grab that image, crumple it up, and toss it straight into the trash. I’m not sure... should I be worried that I’m feeling this impulse?

Well, personally, I actually think the picture is pretty good...😉

Karen Sanchez19 said:Just take a closer look at the details in this image: http://user.cyberlink.ch/~koenig/lam2.gif

Those spirals on both sides...

And those three large circles alongside the three smaller ones—if you look at their placement, they really do remind me of the Tree of Life as a model of The Spiritual Universe.

It’s just so obvious how the ankh fits in... like the nose and the forehead...
Maybe Lam is some kind of organic portal... or maybe it's an ET...
Even Aleister Crowley himself noted this:
Crowley wrote in 1944: "My observation of the Universe convinces me that there are beings of intelligence and power of a far higher quality than anything we can conceive of as human; that they are not necessarily based on the cerebral and nervous structures that we know, and that the one and only chance for mankind to advance as a whole is for individuals to make contact with such beings."

Karen Sanchez19 Asks:
So, let me try to break this down for you—how one actually "travels" using just an image. It’s a bit like looking at a blueprint versus standing inside the building itself. Think about it like this: when you look at a high-res photo of the Grand Canyon, you aren't just seeing colors on a screen. You're engaging with a frequency. In certain practices, an image acts as a sort of psychic gateway or a focal point. Instead of physically driving from New York to Los Angeles, you're using the visual data to tune your internal state to the "vibration" of that destination or concept. It's less about moving your body through space and more about shifting your consciousness to match the geometry of what you're looking at. It’s like using a map not to find a street, but to find a state of mind. It sounds abstract, I know, but once you start seeing images as energetic anchors rather than just flat pictures, the whole idea of "traveling" starts to make a lot more sense.😁

True, though you can't help but wonder what he was actually after. Jack Parsons—the visionary force behind NASA. The guy whose innovations and rocket tech actually turned the space program from a dream into a reality... it’s all connected. If you're familiar with "Montauk Revisited" and the Philadelphia Experiment, you know we're talking about the legacy of Jack Parsons—it's right there in his Babylon work. It’s also a pretty wild coincidence that Aleister Crowley passed away in 1947... just around the same time as the Roswell incident. Honestly, you should never claim to be absolutely certain about things we don't fully understand. But hey, I'm just sharing this out of pure curiosity.😁

goldenharbor said:There’s this one book that lays it all out, but the title is slipping my mind right now.

I've been turning it over in my head, trying to remember...😕

So, tell me—have you actually tried looking at it? And if you did, did you feel anything at all?...See, the technique in that link I shared is pretty straightforward...but honestly, I think it works better if you just stare directly at the image itself, enlarged, without all those digital computer effects getting in the way...like this one:
http://user.cyberlink.ch/~koenig/lam2.gif

*I actually have this version from Kenneth Grant (who follows the OTO/Aleister Crowley lineage):

That’s really a question for the Crowley-evac crowd. lem is his thing... honestly, it would be great if anyone here had some firsthand experience to share. 👍

I’m not sure if you’ve already come across this, but maybe it’ll help:
