Of course, terrible childhoods exist—everything from various types of abuse to being caught in war zones—forcing children to grow up instantly just to survive and look after others.
I think we are talking about relatively standard upbringing circumstances here.

A friend of mine recently remarked, "Childhood is the only time in life when we aren't constantly checking the clock."
Back then, there was never any rush. We weren't preoccupied with the distant future; instead, we just focused on
revisiting those sweet memories of being somewhere special with someone dear—simply living in the moment without a single worry.
I tend to agree that, broadly speaking, childhood is the happiest chapter of our lives.

However, the real challenge as an adult is learning how to recapture even a fraction of that effortless peace we once had.
