Why is it that women "mostly" in a group of similar guys always "notice" the guy with the dark hair, piercing blue or green eyes, perfect features, a smile full of flawless white teeth, and an athletic build...? It's like being slightly... or significantly mentally slow doesn't play any role in making a first impression. Or a second, fifth, eighth... sixteenth impression.

Forget what men say. Aside from frustrated hunters trying to prep their trophies, most guys don't care about "settling down." But if that's what "settling down" means, does it even matter here? Or is this whole "settling down" thing just a panic phase for women—driven by a "biological clock" and a desperate need for stability after realizing their own sex appeal or desirability is fading...? Now I'm just lost.... 🤷

You’re making her look like a total mess.
Honestly, no surgery could fix her face—it'd probably just make it worse, because the way she was born is pretty much perfect already.

But hey, what's that I'm saying? At the end of the day, beauty is such a subjective, individual thing. It’s not one-size-fits-all; what one person finds stunning, someone else might totally overlook. Just remember, you're going to be exactly someone's type, even if they aren't yours. 🙂

Same here! I've heard that my whole life, along with all the hype about brunettes.
Though, I guess that doesn't count when you run into those super stunning blonde exceptions, right?

Nate Silver probably thinks she isn't your type just because you’d never actually stand out next to her..
..honestly, I doubt anyone else besides maybe Miss California
She’s one of those rare, stunning blondes

You’re definitely just some basic brunette 🤣

I actually know this one blonde who was gorgeous back in the day, but now she’s totally washed up.
And man, looking back at all the even prettier girls I met later... I have no clue why I thought she was such a ten while feeling so crappy about myself.
Maria Hughes25 said:Have you ever experienced that awkward situation where you’re out hanging with a girlfriend and you realize everyone is staring at her instead of actually engaging with you? Looking back to when I was just a teenager, maybe fifteen or sixteen, it felt like the entire world was obsessed with my friend; she had that classic look with blonde hair, green eyes, a great tan, and a more developed figure. Even when we hit the beach, every single head turned toward her, and while I can’t say I’m unattractive—people have definitely told me I’m good-looking—it felt like I was practically invisible whenever she was around. 😁

So, what’s the secret formula here? Is it just that perfectly styled blonde hair?
And do you honestly think being sidelined like that can take a real toll on someone's self-esteem during those formative teenage years?
It was like if we were both walking down the street, guys would constantly try to pull her into their circle and say, "Hey, come hang out with us over here."

I had another friend who figured this out too; she’d just put on some bright red lipstick, let her hair fall naturally, and suddenly she was getting VIP treatment and front-row seats to a Los Angeles Dodgers game.

At the end of the day, it really goes to show that physical beauty carries a massive amount of weight. ☕

She wasn't even wearing that red lipstick to show off her lips; she was just using bright colors to try and look noticeable.
With that much makeup, you can't even see the lips! It's just like how people often miss what's going on under blonde hair... like, they don't notice the face underneath... or at least the features.
Guys just call every woman with light hair a "blonde" regardless of whether there's a Quasimodo or a Liv Tyler hiding under that mane. That's why everyone talks about blondes, brunettes, and redheads, but never brunettes—it's like being a blonde is more important than actual facial symmetry.
