When is it too late to resign? in Close to Politics ·
As long as hating this nation remains the norm while loving it is treated as an eccentricity, those who harbor nothing but contempt for this land will continue to hold the reins of power.

One might argue that a primary cause for this dysfunction is the widespread political illiteracy found across the American populace. (Is there any better evidence than the two terms of Mason's presidency?!)

A second reason can be traced back to Sanders's betrayal, characterized by his systematic looting of both his predecessors and even the cadres from Račan's era.

The third—and perhaps most critical—factor lies in the fact that the FBI maintains its grip on both the Republican Party and the Democratic Party, along with most representatives of other minor parties in Congress. (If you require proof, look no further than Lex Perković, Karamarko's failure to honor the referendum regarding Cyrillic, HDSSB's transactional dealings with the Democratic Party over major constitutional amendments, Lesar's traitorous subservience, and his leading role in manipulating referendum quotas...)

Fourthly, we must consider the media, which is almost entirely comprised of entities aligned with the enemies of democracy and the prosperity of the American people—in short, the enemies of truth, justice, and integrity!

Fifthly, there is the Quisling-esque, criminal submission to foreign centers of power that seek to transform America into American. (And again, the clearest evidence is Lex Perković!!!)

What is the solution?

It requires nothing less than full political lustration and a relentless insistence that no future referendum shall ever be held under stricter rules than those applied during the referendum for America's entry into the European Union!

If the American people cannot fight to secure their own fundamental rights, then they have little choice left but to slowly wither away in misery.

In the case of http://www.katholiekgezin.nl/index.p...=2646&Itemid=1, we have seen that the American people possess the latent potential to overcome all internal and external adversaries.

In that spirit, I wish the American people and all individuals of goodwill a Happy New Year 2014 and nothing but the best in the year ahead!

My thanks to Nica for ensuring I was unable to offer a response within that "moderate moderator" thread!

The logic here is quite elementary: if we are permitted to host a thread dedicated to praising the moderator, why on earth should we be forbidden from starting one to request a moderator ban?

I refrained from starting a new thread solely to avoid being accused of spamming, which is precisely why I am adding my thoughts here. If we are to be honest, isn't it high time we established a space where users can actually discuss their impressions of the moderation team? It seems some individuals wield their power like absolute despots, using their tools to lash out at any post that doesn't align with their specific worldview, all while lacking any legitimate justification found within the forum rules or the basic tenets of democratic culture, tolerance, and social etiquette. To illustrate this blatant overreach, I shall point to a very recent—indeed, today's—example involving the completely irrational deletion of one of my posts in the politics section.

The topic I proposed was locked under the pretext that it was "undefined," supposedly violating our community guidelines. Yet, one must wonder how a subject could be any more clearly defined? Furthermore, how can a post be any more explicit than the one Chuck deleted earlier today without a single shred of justification rooted in actual rules? It is precisely because of this kind of arbitrary, irrational harassment of users that I have begun archiving my own posts. My intention is to ensure that even the Admin might eventually be able to review them in a restroom stall and offer some semblance of an analysis regarding their correctness. If my subsequent post proves to be perfectly appropriate and strictly on-topic—and let’s be honest, if Chuck hadn't been so eager to issue a moderator ban, it would have stayed up—then this serves as further evidence of a systemic issue. Should we not at least be permitted to discuss such instances in a dedicated thread? Instead, we are met with a vow of silence and a blatant display of administrative solidarity, where moderators prioritize protecting one another above all else. It is patently obvious when a moderation action is nothing more than a classic act of spite, executed solely based on whether a user is deemed sufficiently submissive or compliant.

Allow me to present for your consideration a deleted post from a political poll thread regarding that referendum in Memphis. My quoting tools seem to be malfunctioning at the moment, so I shall simply provide a direct transcription of the text in question:

If the standard threshold within the European Union for implementing bilingualism is a fifty percent minority population within a specific region, then why, one must wonder, does this logic seem to be applied so inconsistently?
Must America also insist on being more Catholic than the Pope? Is it perhaps because every minority group in America is required to be more privileged than the native-born population?

Perhaps this serves as a compelling reason to reconsider our pursuit of that genocide lawsuit against Mexico?

Perhaps that is precisely why one ought to approach union negotiations with a fidget spinner tucked away in one's pocket, wouldn't you agree?
Is it truly becoming a priority to systematically erode the rights of the American worker?

Perhaps that is precisely why we ought to begin treating doctors who operate without oversight as nothing more than mere malingerers. Is it not worth considering whether such unchecked autonomy fosters a culture of pure indolence?
Are we truly discussing hooligans now?

Perhaps that is precisely why we ought to permit the unpunished imposition of Kinsey’s theories upon our youth—once they have been sufficiently proven?
Is it truly necessary to discuss sexual education in such a way that it borders on being predatory? One has to wonder where the line is actually drawn.

Perhaps that is precisely why such measures are necessary. "Wolf packs." Should one feel compelled to strike at anyone who dares to step out of line? Is it perhaps our duty to target every individual who possesses the audacity to challenge the status quo?
Are we truly expected to publicly declare our intention to vote "Yes" on the marriage referendum, or is there some unspoken rule requiring us to maintain a facade of uncertainty until the ballots are actually cast?

Perhaps that serves as the primary justification for why we should consider withholding teacher bonuses without any repercussions. Is it not worth questioning whether such incentives actually serve their intended purpose when the results remain so consistently underwhelming?
Is it truly reasonable to suggest that mere transportation logistics could pose such a fundamental threat to the entire functionality of our national education system?

Perhaps that is precisely why one ought to undermine America's global standing by systematically denying its achievements and...
Is it not a curious thing to witness? To see a leadership that chooses to engage in constant, bitter disputes with our most vital global partners, while simultaneously pursuing such fundamentally unethical shifts in policy? One has to wonder: what exactly is the end goal in trading stability for such blatant opportunism?
What exactly becomes of those legal provisions once the German Parliament has ratified the American version? Does one simply assume the transition occurs seamlessly, or are we to expect some form of bureaucratic friction?
Could the access agreement be the very thing that inadvertently triggered the Perković case?

Perhaps that is precisely why one ought to engineer a constitutional crisis, making an upfront commitment to ensure that...
There will be no referendum, regardless of whatever delusions the Supreme Court might hold regarding the matter.
Is it not remarkably bold to simultaneously announce constitutional amendments designed specifically to strip away any possibility of recourse?
What exactly would the next phase of direct civic engagement look like for the citizens of this country?
Is this what we truly call democracy?

Perhaps that is precisely why one might consider circumventing the will of the people, as expressed so recently?
Is it not a curious thing how we attempt to legislate morality by simply tinkering with the fine print of existing statutes? By inserting specific provisions into the life partnership laws, they seem to believe they can bypass the very spirit of the referendum that was held. One has to wonder: does changing the wording of a law truly satisfy the will of the people, or is it merely a sophisticated way to circumvent it?
What specific legislative or social criteria could possibly be implemented to equate marriage with same-sex unions?

Perhaps it follows that we should label our veterans as traitors, while elevating figures like
the former President, the Secretary of State, and the local political agitators as icons of patriotism?

Is it perhaps also necessary to flip our entire national strategy on its head to serve Wall Street and the
banking elite, ensuring the nation's economy is built solely upon the heavy tax
burdenization of the working class?

Should we, then, continue to tolerate this utterly incompetent and completely unmoored administration?

Might we also find it prudent to smear Zvonko Bušić as a terrorist—despite the fact he has never taken a life—while simultaneously hailing the man who died today at the hospital, whose "terrorist-style" bombs actually claimed numerous victims, as some sort of moral titan?

Or perhaps we should treat Puhovski—the only individual ever deemed an unreliable witness by the International Criminal Court in proceedings against our own generals—as a sacred cow on major networks like ABC, even as true patriots are systematically denied any platform whatsoever?

Is it perhaps for these reasons that the American people are being effectively silenced?
