JP Morgan Chase - overdraft limits and fees in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Does anyone know the specific procedure for increasing an overdraft limit at JPMorgan Chase?
Do I need to submit a formal written request, fill out a specific form, or something along those lines?

To give you some context, I’m currently sitting at a deficit of $2300 (roughly one paycheck), and I have $2300 approved for installment payments. However, I actually need to increase my allowed overdraft to about $0.00. Are there any typical hurdles when requesting this, and how long does approval usually take? I believe I'm using that flexible credit option.
Thanks
My private affair in Psychology & Therapy ·
Hello.

I find myself needing to write this out. It’s my first time truly "pouring my soul out" here, hoping to gain some perspective or advice from this community.
I will attempt to be concise and direct; I am available for any questions you may have.

I am 26 years old. I grew up in a small town with a fairly conservative upbringing. At 19, I moved out into my own apartment, primarily due to constant friction with my father and a desperate need for privacy.
Then, at 20, I discovered that the man I called my father wasn't actually my biological father. I had lived my entire life completely unaware. To be honest, the realization leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
I feel as though I’ve been caught in a conspiracy orchestrated by those closest to me—especially my mother. It feels like everyone in my hometown knew the truth except for me.
I don't blame my mother—not consciously, anyway. I realize she likely carried the heaviest burden, but then again, shouldn't I have had the right to know who my father really was?
In the meantime, I have met my biological father, though no one back home knows about it.
It has become difficult to look my family in the eye. Even though I know they love me, I can't shake the feeling that I've been betrayed by their silence.
In a month, I have to move back in with them because I can no longer afford to rent on my own.
My primary question is this: how should I deal with this sense of "conspiracy" I'm feeling?
I struggle with a weak character and am quite dissatisfied with myself; I can see myself slowly morphing into the very man I am trying so hard not to become.
