You actually bet on over 3.0. That’s an Asian total. I completely missed that the line was over 3 without the zero handicap. If the game ends with exactly three goals, the bet is a loss...

If everything went through, then huge props to you. But looking at the picks you posted, the timing was a bit off. One didn't land—that one where you predicted over 3 goals in the Rome match. However, the one for the Welsh league came through. So, right now, you're sitting at even.

I’d definitely suggest introducing some kind of stake sizing guide.
It would be helpful to specify the bet amount—like $50, $100, $500—or just use relative terms like small, medium, or large stakes.

That might give other followers a much better sense of direction.
If someone with a solid track record posts a pick meant for a heavy stake, it signals that it’s worth following, even if just with a small amount.

Here is a really useful suggestion! We should start including whether a stake is relative or an absolute dollar amount. Maybe we could even run a public or anonymous poll: 1. How many bets do you place per week? 2. What is your average bet size in dollars? 3. Do you mostly stick to singles, doubles, or something else? ...

It wouldn't hurt to get a better feel for the pulse and the overall betting structure here.

Which match was it? Post a screenshot here or just shoot me a DM. Why didn't you clarify in the thread: "I'm sizing up on this because I expect..."
Most people would have put down $50 or $100, not a massive chunk like you did. But honestly, everyone would have been happy if it hit. I’m really pulling for you here, especially since you went big—it’s clear you had a solid reason to trust it. Given how long you've been betting, you wouldn't normally drop that kind of cash without a very good feeling about it.

That’s the whole point of this community—helping each other out and sharing info that actually puts money in our pockets rather than taking it away.

jadesailor said:Because what counts as $100 might be someone's entire bankroll, while for someone else, it’s pocket change they’d only touch if they were feeling extra confident before dropping a thousand on a lock. What's the point in debating specific numbers? It only makes sense to rate the confidence level on a scale of 1 to 10.

But that's exactly why I don't think it's out of line to ask about specific dollar amounts. People post all sorts of things here—random life stories, political debates, even dating advice. There's a whole thread on this forum dedicated to people talking about politics and women...
What if someone just writes, "I put $100 on the Over 2.5 goals market," or maybe "$50"?
I just want to get a feel for the cash flow among other bettors and forum members. I'm curious about how much people actually value a particular bet in practice.
For instance, what kind of amount does someone drop on a "trap game"—those unpredictable matches everyone tries to avoid—or on a card count in an MLS match, or even a standard result in one of the European top five leagues or the Champions League?

Let's be real: any bet under $100 is technically a small stake. Yet, that's where most people play.

Just to clarify, my question was aimed at seeing what others are putting down so I can gauge where I stand. I'm not looking to blindly copy anyone's moves based on whether their "big bet" feels large to me or to them. It's like asking a friend how much they usually spend on a Saturday night out. It's a completely benign question. Besides, this whole thread is built on questioning and discussing things with each other.

Why is it against the rules to ask about stake amounts? I just want to get a sense of the scale we're working with—you know, to see what kind of action other folks on here are actually putting down on their bets.
So, what’s your take on how long this restriction is going to stick around? When do you think we might actually see intercity buses back in action again? I'm thinking maybe if everyone just wears masks or if they limit the capacity per bus...

Surely it won't stay suspended for months on end, right? Does anyone have any inside scoop? Is there any truth to the rumor that things might stay this way until the end of April?
Exactly. Either you stay within your county, or even better, just stick to your immediate region. That’s what another user on this forum suggested, and honestly, I couldn't agree more.

It makes zero sense that you can drive from Dubuque to Central Park, yet you aren't allowed to travel from Naperville to the western outskirts of Washington, D.C.

Or even just traveling between neighboring small towns. We all see how people have to commute for work, or how they have to drive to the next town over just to find a pharmacy or a grocery store because their own village doesn't have one. It’s illogical. It’s not like viruses care about municipal borders or county lines
.

There is absolutely no reason to restrict driving from Pittsburgh to Naperville or from Cleveland to Kearney when those two counties combined only have a handful of cases. This isn't like taking a massive trip between two major hubs, like flying from Washington, D.C. to Miami.

I believe these measures were implemented with good intentions, but as the old saying goes, the road to hell is paved with good intentions😁

So, we decide to limit movement to vacation spots—you know, the islands, the coastal cities in Florida where everyone goes to summer homes and rentals.
Fine. But if that's the plan, why not set up checkpoints in those specific areas? Put them on Manhattan or Martha's Vineyard where people keep their weekend houses, or along the main highways leading down to Florida, California, or the South. Set up controls there instead.

Instead of applying this rule selectively, it’s just foolish to generalize it across all of America. It's nonsensical. It’s just like how it's unfair to punish the entire nation because of a few "corona parties"—it shouldn't be everyone's problem. Looking out my window, the streets look as deserted as if an atomic bomb had just gone off.

How am I supposed to visit my sick parents for the Easter holidays now? Or drop off their medication? Or even check on my vacation home to see if there's any damage after the earthquake? 🤔 I have my own car, I wear my mask—even if it feels like it doesn't do much, you get my point. This restriction just doesn't make sense.

I’m looking to meet a woman who actually enjoys good conversation—someone who values both listening and sharing ideas. I’d love to find someone to attend lectures with, whether they’re about travel or just some other fascinating subject. I'm also big on museums and art exhibits. Maybe we could even plan a weekend trip out to see Niagara Falls or explore Yellowstone. I enjoy catching a movie at the local AMC Theatres, or perhaps heading to a film festival like Sundance. To be honest, I'm less interested in the big blockbusters and more drawn to indie documentaries or unique films you might find playing in Central Park.

I'm genuinely open to making new connections. Feel free to reach out 😉

I honestly think betting on total goals is the way to go here. Sure, the odds aren't as juicy as picking a straight win or a draw, but at the end of the day, we just want the ticket to hit.

I mean, what good is chasing a massive payout at the 80th minute for a team like Germany? They're the heavy favorites and they absolutely need this win just to keep Low from getting sent back to Stuttgart in disgrace. If they lose—which sounds crazy, I know, but hey, anything can happen in sports—it’s a disaster. In ten parallel universes, they walk away with the win, but in this one, things are looking 😁. That’s why I’d rather play it safe with a double chance (12) or just bet on over 0.5 goals.

Think about it: what percentage of games in the Super Bowl actually end in a 0-0 deadlock? Is it really under 5%? Probably. Because of that, the smartest move is to wait for the live action. Wait until those goal totals odds climb a bit higher, then drop some cash.

So, that's my takeaway for the day after everyone lost their shirts betting on Germany. If you can find an acceptable price, just bet on the total goals. Someone is bound to find the back of the net eventually, and frankly, I don't care who does it.

So, what are your thoughts on Portugal pulling off a win against Iran tomorrow? The odds are sitting at 1.7 , which honestly feels pretty high.

Do you think they'll field a backup lineup just to stay fresh and avoid picking up unnecessary yellow cards? Is that why the odds are looking so high?

The odds on Sweden are sitting pretty high at 2.2

What’s your take on this one? Whenever I see a matchup between a European squad and an Asian side, I usually lean toward the non-Asian team—provided it isn't just a friendly. In my experience, the fitness levels of the Europeans tend to outclass the Asian teams most of the time. It’s just a simple observation...

The odds for a Sweden win (no draw) are 1.40. Does that actually hold value? I can't decide if we're looking at a stalemate or if the Swedes are going to pull it off.

So, here’s the deal: I’m looking for a new friend—guy or girl—to explore some museums with, check out art galleries, or catch a concert at Madison Square Garden or the Chase Center. I’m also big on cycling, getting outdoors, or just heading out on a quick weekend road trip every now and then.

Basically, I’m after some quality companionship that goes a bit deeper than just sitting around grabbing coffee all day.
