I’m putting this post out there mostly just to meet some new people—potential friends or even more, depending on where things go. I'm putting this post together because I’d love to meet some new people—potential long-term friends or just cool folks to hang out with. To kick things off, we can start with some casual texting, and if we hit it off, move into those deeper, more meaningful conversations. I'm really looking forward to swapping perspectives, sharing ideas, and geeking out over stories, movies, series, and music.
A little bit about me, visually and otherwise:
I'm 34 years old, with greyish-green eyes and a short, military-style haircut (about 90% of it) in a chestnut shade... though I do have a little twist: about 10% of my hair consists of three long, silver/ash-colored dreadlocks that flow from the nape of my neck down to my shoulders. I'm employed and living on the west side of Washington, D.C. My work schedule is pretty intense, so I'm either at the office or on the clock about 75% of the time from Monday to Friday. During the other 25%, plus my weekends, you'll usually find me listening to music, getting lost in a book, or catching up on series, movies, or documentaries. I also spend time writing fiction in a foreign language. When it comes to my playlist, I lean toward indie, alternative, psych pop, experimental pop, math rock, death metal, industrial, and post-rock. Outside of that, I have two big passions: cycling and camping.
