Are you talking about that creature perched right on top of its head? Honestly, I couldn't even keep my eyes on it. 👎

It doesn't matter if the guy is a celebrity or a complete nobody—what matters is whether he actually lives out his own BS. Your soul can sniff out who's legit. Like, look at parents who tell their kid to stay away from sugar while they're sitting there devouring a donut; those people have zero credibility, so their words don't mean squat.

Quincy:
How can you even tell if someone has actually found enlightenment and isn't just lying to you or playing you? Is it based on how smooth they talk, or the peace and compassion they radiate, or maybe all those deep thoughts and that charismatic vibe? They could even be using an aggressive, persuasive style. Honestly, all of that can be rehearsed, especially if the person is a natural performer.
The universe knows exactly what your intentions are, and it sends people your way based on that.

If you aren't looking for anything real and just want something to kill the boredom, that's exactly what you'll get—some con artist selling you smoke and mirrors.
But if you truly want to dedicate your entire life to God, the universe will send you a real teacher.

Quincy:
What does "living out your enlightenment" actually look like in practice?

A Zen proverb 😁 says that before enlightenment, a man chops wood and carries water, and after enlightenment, he chops wood and carries water. You can't just watch someone and decide they're enlightened. In fact, they say only someone who's already reached that state can recognize it in someone else—though, by that point, they wouldn't really care anyway.
Personally, I prefer the idea of surrendering to God over "enlightenment," mostly because I haven't got a clue what enlightenment even is.
Someone who has surrendered is free from fear.

You can spot someone who has surrendered to God because they aren't out there trying to grab power over anyone else; their only real interest is helping other people find their own freedom.

But hey, this is just one way of looking at things. Not every enlightened soul walks the same path, after all.

That works for you too, I suppose. After all, everyone sees things through their own lens, don't they?

Well, sure. Go ahead. Strip me down and let me feel the current.
I’ve been thinking lately... I really feel the need to find a spiritual teacher, someone who actually understands the nuances of an energy system. 😒

However, I would argue that experiencing depression due to spiritual matters is essentially a symptom of an inability to reconcile oneself with the harsh reality that life, illness, suffering, and pain often lack any inherent meaning. It is much like a group of idealistic reformers who yearn to reshape the world into something better, yet find themselves paralyzed because they cannot accept the world exactly as it exists right now.

Exactly! Tell them like it is. Just a bunch of damn idealists, bigots, and emotional manipulators.
The real move? You should probably just saddle that beast up and pull the reins tight so it actually gets to work—plowing, digging, doing something useful.
What, you want to give it pills so it feels all "great"? Please. Let it see what a real life looks like.

I’m offering companionship services for folks between the ages of 18 and 32, specifically covering areas
from Des Moines all the way out to Kosciusko. It’s preferred if you have some background or even just a passing interest in geothermal springs and aromatherapy—and, interestingly enough, it helps if you’ve dealt with some form of past trauma. Autoimmune issues aren't an issue either. Ideally, you should be a Taurus or a Scorpio with the Moon sitting in your eighth house. As for me? Well, I possess the intellectual tools and certain visual delusions—let's call them "Mangekyo Sharingan" eyes—which I utilize to transform intimacy into a pure illusion. Please, only reach out if you are serious people; I simply don't have the bandwidth for a mountain of drama. The price for one hour of companionship? Just let the first drop be the one that finally overflows the glass.
Thanks in advance to anyone who reaches out.
