Honestly, I think everyone’s just being way too extra. Look, I get it—you should do *something*—but I don't see the big deal with just grabbing some candy or hitting up a movie theater. At the end of the day, it’s about showing you actually gave a damn and remembered. If the relationship actually lasts, you'll have plenty of chances down the road to go all out with those massive, over-the-top gifts that totally miss the point of a "little something."
