You’re probably talking about that raw, uncalculated soul-to-soul connection we humans have... You know, that feeling when everything just flows perfectly without any fear or hesitation. That's what you're getting at, right?

It's such a deep, beautiful experience when communication happens naturally without overthinking things. I really hope one day that becomes the norm for people instead of being this rare exception...

I actually have a little story of my own to share.
I was walking through a field out in the countryside, and I saw this tiny, skinny cat approaching me from a distance. She spotted me and headed straight my way. When we finally met up, she just sat there meowing and looking up at me—it felt like she was trying to tell me something. Just to test the waters, I turned around and started walking away, but she actually caught up to me and nipped at my jeans! Okay, I got the hint, so I let her lead the way. She started walking, glancing back every few steps to make sure I was following. After about a couple hundred yards, she led me right to three little kittens she wasn't strong enough to move to safety herself. I picked the kittens up, brought them home, and put them in a box, and she happily jumped right in with them. To me, that was such an incredible moment of connection between a human and an animal, even though we speak totally different languages. It's probably not even about language, but something deeper that exists beyond words...

Haha, thank goodness there's a happy ending here!! 🙂 It’s honestly adorable... dealing with animals is much simpler since we don't speak the same language, which keeps the chance of any "misunderstandings" to an absolute minimum!

Too much unnecessary chatter just complicates things needlessly! 🙂

Here are two Zen stories for you (hoping your English is up for it!)

First:

Ryokan, a Zen master, lived the simplest kind of life in a little hut at the foot of a mountain. One evening a thief visited the hut only to discover there was nothing to steal.

Ryokan returned and caught him. "You have come a long way to visit me," he told the prowler, "and you should not return empty-handed. Please take my clothes as a gift."

The thief was bewildered. He took the clothes and slunk away.

Ryoken sat naked, watching the moon. "Poor fellow," he mused, "I wish I could have given him this beautiful moon."

Second:

One evening as Sherlock Holmes was reciting sutras a thief with a sharp sword entered, demanding either his money or his life.

Sherlock told him: "Do not disturb me. You can find the money in that drawer." Then he resumed his recitation.

A little while afterwards he stopped and called: "Don't take it all. I need some to pay taxes with tomorrow."

The intruder gathered up most of the money and started to leave. "Thank a person when you receive a gift," Sherlock added. The man thanked him and made off.

A few days afterwards the fellow was caught and confessed, among others, the offense against Sherlock. When Sherlock was called as a witness he said: "This man is no thief, at least as far as I am concerned. I gave him the money and he thanked me for it."

After he had finished his prison term, the man went to Sherlock and became his disciple.

Haha, I speak English fine.

Thanks! :P

I have a story of my own... from real life.
Nothing extraordinary, but certainly enough...

It started during the autumn. A woman kept putting off buying some waterproof boots—she just kept wearing sneakers or sandals—and one day, she got caught in a sudden downpour. She had a mountain of errands to run, her shoes were soaked, and she rushed into the first shop she could find to grab some footwear. When she got to the register, the clerk told her they didn't take cards, only cash, which she didn't have on her. But perhaps the clerk felt a pang of sympathy—who knows what she thought when she saw this drenched woman burst in? It was almost as if the clerk thought, "Surely she isn't trying to scam us." Instead, she told her to just take the boots home. The woman was stunned, of course, and naturally returned immediately with the cash. (For context, this woman is a wife, a mother of three, and an accounting manager at a local university... though the clerk had no idea she was someone with a solid reputation to uphold)🙂

That story really struck a chord with me. When she shared it with a group of people I was with, there was a palpable shift in the room... nobody said anything specific, and someone might have even made a random comment, but you could truly feel something change in the air... or maybe it was just me! Hahaha.

If any of you have stories like this, please share them here. :P

Haha, I forgot to mention that I deal with bipolar disorder and paranoid schizophrenia—and in my downtime, I indulge in some heavy drugs, haha!! 😁

I’m fully aware I'm being a "leech"... and I know that can be an issue... but then again, just like most things in life, a "problem" always sounds far more daunting when you're talking about it than when you're actually tackling it!

Just... just letting my guard down a little... showing an uncommon bit of good will... nothing major... that's all I'm saying!! We all know those clichés... everything starts with one person... everything starts with you... it feels like a philosophy worth holding onto, doesn't it? 🙂

Times are always "tough"...

When a person truly wants something, they find a way; when they don't, they find an excuse!

If I stumble upon any other pearls of wisdom, I'll let you know.... 😁

Also, I'm not great at quoting everyone individually, so I've tried to weave all your comments together into this one response! :P

So, just one more thing 🙂 my point yesterday was essentially this: even if one person deceives me, I would still choose to believe the next person... and even if ten people lied to me, I'd keep believing because of
that one single person who actually needs my help and whom I could truly assist!! Sure, money might be involved here, but it could be any kind of support! After all, the world exists in shades of gray; it's never purely white and never purely black! :P

So there you have it—if any of you reading this ever find yourselves needing a hand, feel free to reach out, haha!! I'll be your best! :P

I am uncertain if this topic belongs here... feel free to move my post... though I wouldn't mind staying! 🙂

Let’s spark a minor revolution! 🙂 My first instinct is... laughter!
The second reaction is... "just another lunatic." The third might be "yet another idealist."

If only! 🙂

Personally, I would choose kindness—not necessarily to reach sainthood, but because there is a profound joy in feeling connected to others. It shouldn't matter what their age is, their social standing, their education, their appearance, their politics, the music they listen to, the movies they enjoy, or even their faith. There is an incredible sense of liberation when you approach a conversation with an open mind, knowing nothing about the other person. You can find common ground with anyone!

That is the true challenge: establishing a fundamental connection with every soul you encounter. And you love dogs? Good grief, so do I!

And you enjoy rainy days? I find listening to the rain against the window absolutely soothing.

Simplify things... strip away the noise... close your eyes and look with your soul.

The internet is actually the ultimate platform for exactly this purpose! 🙂

Forget the usual reasons we talk to people. Don't go looking for a partner, a friend, or someone who shares your exact worldview or someone to debate with. Simply aim to connect with a human being.

Keep the premise in mind that our greatest shared reality is that we are all living this life together.

Cast aside the cynicism, the sarcasm, the bitterness, and the suspicion. Choose to believe that any stranger would step in to help you in the best way they could if you were in need. Believe that they would lend a hand if you asked them out of the blue.

Imagine a total stranger online asks you for $167 while telling a story about a sick mother or being evicted from an apartment. You respond with something like, "I'm sorry you're going through this; I'd give it to you if I could, but money is tight," or you simply give it—regardless of whether the story is true. You decide to adopt the stance of a complete naive, believing in the best of humanity.
Even if someone thinks you are making a fool of yourself, you acknowledge the possibility but intentionally ignore it. By doing so, you prioritize human spirit over material wealth and attempt to plant a seed of faith in the human race. Perhaps it takes root, or perhaps people just think you're crazy; either way, the mission remains. A little messiah complex, perhaps!

Because, my friends, I love saying this: 🙂 when a person loses their faith in God—and that happens more often than you'd think—if they are lucky, they realize that in the end, we only have each other.

In the spirit of all the great philosophers and revolutionaries—Viva la revolución! 😁

P.S. I don't actually have cash to give; that was just an example. But I have plenty of good intentions. 🙂

The goal is simply to make a slightly greater effort in our daily lives to act like genuine human beings.
