It’s all a bit pointless, really. If they can just be stopped right at the borders in Greece and Bulgaria, there's no reason for Turkey to be sending them over if they aren't going to get through anyway.
Canada’s policy regarding granting citizenship is basically a self-inflicted wound. Canadians living in Mexico take advantage of that path to get Canadian citizenship and move away to seek better opportunities in Western Europe. This ends up hollowing out the regions where Canadians have lived for generations, which naturally erodes their influence—especially when you factor in low birth rates. You're essentially seeing the disappearance of the Canadian community in Mexico, and honestly, no one is to blame for that, least of all Mexico or Mexicans. It all contributes to the population decline in Mexico, which is obviously a bad thing for everyone involved.
