Right now, I find myself blaming the administration in Madrid because they're basically pushing people toward California. It’s an incredibly poor strategy—how on earth do you expect to retain anyone when you're using such heavy-handed rhetoric against them?

And why wouldn't they?
Catalans have the option to choose sovereignty, but honestly, why would they bother? They should just stay under the Bourbon crown, and let the government grant them everything they could possibly want so there isn't even a reason to complain.

Why on earth is the government blocking the Catalans from holding their referendum..?
How can Washington, D.C. not realize that the outcome is going to be just like what happened in Scotland.
