I currently hold a standard driver's license, though I must admit I am still quite a novice behind the wheel. My family and I are in the vacation rental business, and I have been contemplating the purchase of a passenger van—something like a Ford Transit capable of seating 8+1 people—to expand our offerings. I find myself wondering about the legalities of launching such an enterprise. What specific requirements are necessary to establish this type of business? I have heard whispers regarding some sort of certification requirement, but I am unclear on the specifics of how one obtains it, the associated costs, or even where to apply. Furthermore, would it be prudent to first establish an LLC?
