Does your past ever haunt you?

When everything seems to be hitting you all at once, staying positive is an uphill battle. You just have to take action.
In my opinion, dealing with Bivsa should be a much smaller issue right now than finding a job. He’s basically pouring negative energy into more negative energy, and that’s a quick way to end up completely miserable.
He needs to look at his relationship with Bivsa in a realistic light. It’s not worth putting her on a pedestal or acting like his life is over just because she cheated and walked away.
Honestly, there’s probably hardly a man or woman out there who hasn't been cheated on at some point, and it really shouldn't feel like the end of the world. Besides, if she was leaning that way anyway, it’s better that it happened now rather than later. As hard as it feels in the beginning, he just needs to work on moving on. When he meets someone new, he should give her his full attention, actually listen to her, get to know her character, and give her a fair shot without constantly comparing her to the ex. If they happen to drive past her house, don't stare at the windows, don't look back. Just focus on the new girl and embrace the moment...
Plus, there's the whole free will aspect. She didn't handle things the right way, but like I said, sooner is better than later. If she didn't want to be with him, she wasn't. There's no sense in fighting against that reality.
Focus on the job hunt. Personally, I think being a Whistleblower is a true act of heroism. Even though you've taken a massive hit and it was a tough call to make, it proves you've got real guts.
Start healing by finding joy in the little things... Go for a walk in the park with a friend—someone who won't spend the whole time bringing up the ex—and just talk about whatever. Catch a good movie in the evening, treat yourself to some ice cream, or whatever makes you happy... pick up a great book...
👍 Hang in there.
