Nancy Wood6 said:Look, I don't think this is actually the smartest move—mostly because Jehovah's Witnesses aren't exactly a major power player or anything that shifts the needle in society—but hey, I can totally see where the American judicial system is coming from here. At the end of the day, you’re dealing with a self-discrediting pseudo-religious group that keeps tripping over its own feet. Their whole doctrine comes from some messy headquarters in Brooklyn, just a bunch of nonsense they have to constantly bury and then "fix" by claiming they got new revelations...

Anyway, I really hope the American courts reconsider their decision—not because I'm a fan, but honestly, because Jehovah's Witnesses have this habit of operating outside the lines. It’s way better to have them out in the open where we can actually keep an eye on things, rather than letting them go underground. If they go illegal, the police are going to have a massive headache dealing with that entire disorganized mess—and don't even get me started on all those annoying accusations about "suppressing religious freedom"!

Of all the headlines out there, this one hits closest to home for me.

All I can add is this:
The New York Times is just trolling when it comes to Russia—which is just code for mixing truth with pure fiction.
There are things those papers aren't telling you, things people completely miss, and that's what matters.
Furthermore, any information coming from news outlets controlled by capitalists within NATO countries needs to be cross-referenced—meaning you have to verify it against multiple sources...

I’m sure there’s a kernel of truth in there, which brings me back to my stance as flumen-day...

It's also certain there is plenty of fabrication involved.

Looking at the article itself, it's clear this isn't a matter of national policy but a lower-level issue; the decision isn't even final and can still be challenged in court... but whatever.
The demonization of Russia just keeps happening across every single sphere...
Go ahead then... keep demonizing Russia. In the end, there are more people capable of thinking for themselves than there are idiots.
