And 1440p on a 32" just feels too big—the pixel density ends up being about the same as 1080p on a 23" monitor, which isn't ideal.

I’ve wrestled with similar dilemmas myself. Honestly, I’m quite happy with my Dell P2421D. Having 1440p on a 24" display ($600) works perfectly for me. I don't do much heavy lifting in CAD, aside from some light work in SketchUp. Generally speaking, I prefer a tighter, more compact workspace; the standard setups most people use tend to look a bit pixelated to my eyes.

If you're diving deep into CAD—especially on a 32" panel—I'd strongly suggest going with a 4K resolution instead.

Let’s say you decided to skip $833 altogether.
Since this 4K monitor doesn't have a built-in pivot function, I’d probably just mount it on the wall in portrait mode.

And what kind of laptop are we talking about here? It might actually support two video outputs.

My desk setup is a bit awkward—I'm working right into a corner. Since the depth is pretty shallow, a horizontal monitor would end up being way too close to my face. Right now, I’m running a 21" Full HD screen alongside my laptop display. If I pick up a 28" 4K model, I'll basically have double the resolution, and since it'll be sitting quite close, I don't think the text or image will look too small. My bigger concern, honestly, is the viewing angle—I'm worried about color shifting or a distorted image if the perspective isn't perfectly aligned.
The monitor in question would be the LU28E590DSL/EN

Currently, I've got about 22 inches between my eyes and the screen. This 4K unit would sit at roughly 25-27 inches.
I'm using a Lenovo ThinkPad X250 with VGA and miniDP. It handles 4K just fine.

Right now, I’m working with a 13" laptop paired with an HD monitor. I've been wondering—does it actually make sense to pick up a 4K monitor and mount it vertically? My thought process is that it would essentially function as two HD screens stacked on top of one another.

To be honest, I generally lean toward smaller displays—I prefer a smaller font size so I can cram more content onto the screen and keep everything looking organized.
What kind of visual experience should I anticipate with that setup?

The monitor in question would be a budget-friendly Samsung $667 model.

Could you please walk me through the logic behind these specific questions?
- Monthly cash transaction volume ($)
- Average annual account turnover ($)

I’m fairly certain the bank requesting this info has a much better grasp on my finances than I do—not to mention they could probably run a deep-dive analytics report covering the last two decades if they felt like it.
Personally, I don't have the slightest clue what my total transaction volume was three weeks ago, nor do I particularly care to find out.
