When my heart starts racing, the first thing I think of is potassium. If I'm low on that, my heart starts thumping like crazy.

As for my thyroid, it's fine. I had an ultrasound, though not a blood test.

Just yesterday, I noticed that chill while I'm eating, and those tingling sensations traveling down my neck and then down my arms... and then I have to bundle up under a blanket for a while.
I'll mention it to my doctor.

Unfortunately, based on what I've seen, doctors generally don't know much about how all these different minerals affect the body. It’s worth experimenting a bit with your diet to see what works. Are you taking any supplements? Sometimes they just cram everything into a multivitamin, which isn't exactly ideal...

I had an ultrasound too, and everything looked perfect, yet my TSH is still above the limit and I've been diagnosed with hypothyroidism (though I already knew because of the symptoms).
Look, having it documented in black and white isn't a bad thing—ultrasounds usually only show changes once the thyroid has been struggling for years, and by then, it's often too late to intervene...

Two years ago, when I asked my doctor for a thyroid test referral, he just gave me a standard blood panel and told me "you're healthy." If I'd listened, I might have caught this in the early stages... so my advice is—get it checked. It won't hurt...👍

to digest everything, leaving you with weaker circulation...
My blood pressure is usually fine, but if I eat something really salty, it spikes and I can't sleep. But I'll definitely try testing it before and after meals.

My pulse is high, around 90-100, and I get tired really fast. I do drink a lot of fluids, but I definitely have that imbalance because I take supplements on top of my regular diet... Is that dangerous, if it really is caused by an imbalance?

If your pulse stays that high constantly—even first thing in the morning right after you wake up—it wouldn't be a bad idea to get your thyroid checked. Especially since you're fatiguing so easily, you might be dealing with mild hyperthyroidism.

Ha. How dangerous? Anything causing those kinds of bodily reactions over the long term is definitely harmful. In any case, it would be smart to go get some tests done for what you described.

For me, about two months ago, my heart started pounding much harder (not faster, just... I could feel every single beat), especially after lunch. At first, I couldn't even sleep because of it. It’s calmed down quite a bit now, but I have no clue why. If I drink too much fluid all at once, I feel terrible; eating more salt helps me out. My blood pressure is 130/70 (I usually lean toward low BP).

These things are strange. 🤷

Are you drinking a ton of fluids throughout the day, and does it actually make you feel better or worse?

Possible electrolyte imbalance (sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium...). Have your doctor check for this at your next blood panel.

Are you avoiding salt for some reason?
People these days drink way too much water while simultaneously dodging salt—it leads to hyponatremia.
Do you have any heart issues, like palpitations or a racing pulse?

A few thoughts...
