So, a friend was hanging out at my place and downloaded this movie online. Neither of us realized it was actually illegal. Now I’ve got a fine sitting on my desk. The funniest part? I don't even know how anyone does that stuff. My friend already headed back to America.
Is there any way I can get out of this? The fine is pretty steep.
I mean, if someone else is driving your car and they get a ticket, the driver pays, not the owner, right?
Why wouldn't that logic apply here too?
