I’m dealing with something pretty similar, and I can't help but wonder if rowdybadger65 deals with the same thing—my tongue is actually "short" (it's tied to my lower jaw), which makes eating a bit of a struggle. Food often ends up getting stuck halfway down my throat, and I find myself having to swallow two or three times just to clear everything out and get it down to my stomach. It’s created this constant, nagging fear of choking, and honestly, it’s become a bit of a vicious cycle. I’m scheduled for surgery soon to finally fix this, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some relief.
Should I be worried about a low platelet count?

Mine is sitting at 117 (normal range: 158-424).

Everything else on my CBC looks fine. I actually had the bloodwork done to check my iron levels, which came back at
16 (8-30),
with a UIBC of 30 (26-59),
and hemoglobin at 152 (119-157).

For context, I also have hypothyroidism.

That’s exactly why cannabis hits me the same way it does someone who just started this journey. I’ve reached a point where I don't even touch more than ten grams anymore. Every time I use it, all that negativity and those suppressed emotions just start bubbling to the surface. Is it worth digging up everything you've tried to bury? For me, it just isn't.
