Things are only going to get worse from here. He’s never going to go back to being that person you first met, because honestly, he was never actually that person to begin with. It’s highly likely he was just playing a part to win you over—if he had shown his true colors right out of the gate, you never would have given him a chance in the first place.
Do yourself a favor and read up on psychopathy; it might help make everything click into place.
