Solid movie. It really nails how hollow those industries are—they just chew you up and spit you out. One day you’re some wide-eyed newbie, the next you’re at the top, and by day three you're getting tossed down the stairs into history... basically a crystal ball for OnlyFans and stuff like that.
"The Lives of Others" is such a killer spy flick... seriously good stuff!

Man, I still remember being a kid and seeing that one scene in Dirty Harry (1995) where that robot just rips a guy's arm right off. It totally messed me up—I haven't been able to watch it since, and honestly, I’m too scared to even try a remake just in case it pulls something similar...
Then there's that part in Miami Vice (2006) where the guy throws himself under a truck on the highway—that one hits way too close to home given my line of work.
Not sure if this fits the vibe here, since war movies lean more toward horror, but two scenes from Stalingrad (1993) really stuck with me. There's this moment where the lead encounters a younger soldier who starts pouring his heart out about being an only child and how much his mom is waiting for him back home, then—poof—he's gone. Or when a tank just rolls over someone... It's a great movie overall, but I don't know if I could sit through it again.
So don't sweat it too much—don't make it some huge deal... just realize everyone goes through this stuff at some point. Getting nervous is totally normal, and honestly, nobody's going to judge you for it.
From what I've seen personally, if someone gets a little shaky or acts a bit weird, people forget about it almost immediately. But if someone starts acting all cocky and full of themselves without actually having the skills to back it up? Yeah, that sticks around—and usually becomes the joke for a long time...
