Finally, I can almost taste it It honestly feels like after such a long, grueling stretch, we might actually get a championship worth watching. By all accounts, Ferrari looks like they could be a serious force this season. On one hand, that’s exciting news, but on the other, it’s a little depressing because it means Kimi is basically going to be playing errand boy for those German guys at Mercedes We're looking at a massive showdown between Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari. I just really hope there isn't a massive performance gap between them and the likes of Williams, Force India, or Renault My gut feeling? I'm calling it now: a Vettel win with Ricciardo grabbing a spot on the podium
Look, I don't want this to sound like I'm just taking shots at Duvnjak, but I can't help noticing the contrast. I look at Karabatić—who's already 32—and the guy looks like he could go another full round right after the whistle. Meanwhile, Duvnjak is struggling to catch his breath by the 15th minute. He’s constantly dealing with injuries, looking exhausted, sluggish... the gap between them is honestly night and day. And yet, I find it hard to believe Karabatić isn't pulling as many starts as Duvnjak is As for that game from a few days back, I've pretty much moved on. Win or lose, it doesn't matter much to me now. Honestly though, I felt for Horvat after those misses; he’s easily my favorite player to watch
northerncobra31 said:I’m really not a fan of these new wide tires—it feels like they’re just adding halos now too, but honestly, if I’ve already gotten used to that weird handling from the old ones...
Glad to see I'm not the only one feeling this way about the rubber. Maybe I’ll have a change of heart once I see how they actually look on the new cars for the 2016 season, but for now, I think they look pretty terrible...
Solid race today. I’ve gotta give props to the pit crew for those flawless stops; Ferrari has always been my favorite squad to root for Sauber 🙏 is such a joke—honestly, Nasr could probably outdrive half the grid with one leg tied behind his back. They should just sign Maldonado at this point; if nothing else, the guy would actually bring some decent sponsorship money to the team Ferrari 🙂 was alright, but honestly, all they were missing was a classic Fettler-style tantrum to make the day truly complete
I’ve got this nagging feeling that Mercedes is just going to shoot themselves in the foot again today, leaving the door wide open for Ferrari to snatch up the win...
Congrats to the marketing gimmick out there on the track, what an absolute disaster of a lap I’d also keep an eye on Hulk; he might actually snatch some solid points tomorrow I’m expecting total chaos at the start tomorrow, there's a real chance the Mercedes drivers spin right off the track again
Huge props to Max Verstappen. Honestly, I wasn't sure if he could hold off Kimi Räikkönen until the checkered flag, but the guy drove a flawless race without a single slip-up. Absolute masterclass... As for Williams, they’re completely irrelevant right now, just totally out of the picture. I’ve been lurking on a few other forums, and it's hilarious—Ferrari fans are acting like Mercedes dropping out was somehow their own massive victory, even though they couldn't pull off a win themselves today.
Mercedes is absolutely dominating right now—they look untouchable. We'll just have to see if they can actually hold onto that momentum once the race starts. Red Bull 🙏 Daniel Ricciardo 🙏🙏 though, even if I'm not exactly the biggest fan of Max Verstappen, you have to admit the guy is an absolute beast behind the wheel. Ferrari 🙂 And hey, gotta give some props to Fernando Alonso for making it into Q3
The way Nico Rosberg just absolutely slapped Sebastian Vettel aside🙏... I’m really hoping we get to see this trio up on the podium in the upcoming races too...
