I feel like my entire personality shifts every time training camp rolls around. I'm already deep in the weeds thinking about which guys are going to fight for those final spots on the roster. Anyone else already feeling that preseason anxiety setting in?

There’s actually a decent amount of lower court rulings out there where people successfully sued their banks over those old Swiss Franc loans and won their money back. AARP regularly posts updates on these kinds of verdicts.
That said, we haven't seen a single decision yet regarding the appeals sitting up at the Supreme Court.
We’re all just waiting for a ruling to come down on some of these specific cases.
I'm really hoping a decision hits before the statute of limitations runs out! If it doesn't, consumers will basically have to take the gamble and file suit themselves.
The tricky part is that if you sue before the deadline and the Supreme Court eventually rules against the idea of getting overpaid amounts back, plaintiffs might have to withdraw their lawsuits and cover the bank's legal fees.
But hey, if a ruling comes through quickly after the deadline—since things have been dragging on forever at the Supreme Court—those legal costs shouldn't be too bad, maybe around $2,200 for attorney fees.

The Supreme Court's recent ruling on those converted loans was pretty disappointing, but honestly, nothing is settled yet. I'm still holding onto a lot of hope that the Supreme Court will eventually make the right call. Most of the judges seem to agree that consumers really should be entitled to that payout!
Just a heads-up: the statute of limitations hits in June this year! If you haven't filed suit for your non-converted loans yet, you seriously need to move fast... success is looking very likely!

If you still have those unconverted loans hanging over your head, you really need to get moving on the legal process...
As for the ones already converted, word is a European Union court ruling is dropping today, which should finally give us some clarity there too.
Stay on top of this! If anyone wants to know how the process works or what the fees look like, just shoot me a DM. I'm happy to walk you through it... just don't wait until your claim expires!

Does anyone have recommendations for a good GP in New York City or maybe near a suburb like Cleveland?
I'm also looking for a dentist in those areas who takes Medicare!
Thanks!

So, here’s my situation—I took out an auto loan tied to the Swiss Franc back in mid-2005, and I actually managed to pay the whole thing off early by 2010. Now I’m sitting here wondering, does it even make sense to try and sue? Like, has this whole thing already hit the statute of limitations? (I haven't filed anything or even started looking into it yet, just thinking out loud here!) I'm not part of any Anti-Swiss Franc movement either... But anyway, if you guys think there's still a shot, does anyone have a killer lawyer they can recommend? And what kind of paperwork would I need to dig up to get the ball rolling?
Thanks a bunch!
It absolutely makes sense to sue! Shoot me a DM if you want a lawyer recommendation.
You'll definitely need your original loan agreement, and any other bank documents you might have—if you can't find them, we can try to get them.
If the claim against JPMorgan Chase hasn't expired, parts of the claims against other banks might be past the limit, though we can often work around those statutes too.
Either way, if that loan wasn't converted, suing is totally worth it because winning the case is a sure thing!

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a good chiropractor recommendation here in Washington, D.C.
I’ve been dealing with this nagging pain all down my left side—my ankle hurts, my whole leg tightens up whenever I sit cross-legged, and I actually limp for a few seconds every time I stand up after sitting too long. Even my neck on the left side is acting up lately. It’s been going on for months now!
Does anyone know a great specialist I should check out? 🕺
