Is there any way to defer paying legal fees and court costs until after the judgment comes in? From what I gather, attorney fees are basically whatever you negotiate with them—so that’s flexible, right? But does that mean the lawyer ends up being more expensive in the long run? Also, if anyone has solid lawyer recommendations, let me know. My folks are pretty strapped for cash, so we just don't have the $0.00 sitting around to cover everything upfront.
