But honestly, give me a break. They managed to push back the Syrians and Russians in Syria, and now they're deploying troops to Iraq. They hit the Russians and Frenchmen in Libya and basically triggered a massive counterstrike. They even mocked the Egyptians' decision to send troops to Libya, nearly starting a war with the Greeks—all while being completely persona non grata with the USA and lacking any real military or political allies.

If they don't pop like a cheap balloon (and there's a real chance they will), this whole situation is going to be a staple in history textbooks.

An example of what, though? Sure, maybe in tourism, but definitely not across the board. Maybe in fishing.
