It’s been 148 hours without a single word. What’s the hold-up?

I assume it’s fine since I requested it myself.

Best.

I could give you a list of all the hypersensitive users on this forum who take everything personally, if you want to avoid them altogether. 😁

Get a life. 🕺

I actually showed up here long before you did, specifically to offer some perspective to people who realize they have issues, thanks to my pretty deep understanding of how the human mind works.

Nobody cares what you ate for breakfast, what color socks you're wearing, or who you're fantasizing about. Your little psychological projections aren't anyone's business here.
New people show up, being vulnerable about their mental health struggles, and what do you guys do? You just turn this place into a giant ego trip with endless "me, me, me" posts.

Do you guys have zero shame, empathy, or compassion?

I mean it.

Hard to focus when my head is full of voices and suicidal thoughts.

Try meditation. It really helps organize and filter out those unwanted thoughts—you know, the internal voices.

Just twenty minutes a day and you'll be a whole new person in a year.
The Clerk™ 😁
If they had actually put some pressure on me, I probably would've ended up a goth.
🙄 🤦

I'm heading back to 8th grade; those kids actually have their acts together.
Amanda Scott63 said:Breathing keeps you alive, obviously. Stopping it does not. Are you asking my opinion because you want to try choking me out a little?

I guess mortality keeps us going too, otherwise we wouldn't bother reproducing.

Basically impossible. You weigh 65 pounds; you'd have to break something just to attempt choking me. 😬
Hey, this group is actually insane.

Death doesn't phase me. It's just part of life, so why would it be traumatic? Does breathing traumatize you?
Kimberly Perez19 said:I don't get you.
Want my example?
He hit me right where I'm most vulnerable, knowing full well it would break me.
I dealt with some nasty childhood trauma and it took years to recover. Then someone actually had the nerve to call me a liar.
That was it. Conversation over. I have zero interest in apologies or excuses.

And he poked at the exact same spot he wasn't supposed to.

Your personal baggage isn't anyone else's responsibility to carry.

Amanda Scott63 said:That’s what love is. It's saying "I love you and I'll forgive anything." Total unconditional love. For your kids, your parents, your partner. Just love.

No, it isn't. Love is just a strong feeling of attachment.
Tolerance and understanding come from being rational, not from feelings.
Kimberly Perez19 said:Some things just can't be explained away. There are certain lines you don't cross and boundaries you don't mess with. Once you break them, there’s no point in trying to explain yourself or asking for forgiveness. You can't just expect everyone to move past it and act like everything is fine.

That’s just your subjective take, and honestly, it feels pretty intolerant and hard to follow. 😛

Understanding why someone crossed the line is different from how they did it. That's what empathy is for.
Chloe Cooper10 said:LSD was basically right, though he could have been a little less blunt about it.🕺

People ruin their relationships because they’re too subtle. They expect their partners to be mind readers just because they're terrified of actually facing the truth.

Not everyone is a mentalist who can decode every unspoken thought through a single glance.
Morgan Campbell4 said:I’m an idiot. Plain and simple. But I want to be better because I actually give a damn about her. I’m falling for this girl, and it’s been a long time since I was with someone who actually made me feel happy. Today, I hurt her feelings—it wasn't on purpose, but it still sucks, and I care. 😞

Look, the most important thing when you mess up is apologizing and then moving forward on a positive note. Empathic people—and if she gets offended this easily, let's assume she is—tend to feed off other people's energy.

If she doesn't snap out of it within a reasonable timeframe and things don't go back to normal (two weeks max), then she’s just insecure. In that case, drop the whole idea of a happy life with someone like that.

A thin line. 🤣
