Wise handles local payouts in Turkey through one of their partner banks there—so my guess is the receiving bank won't hit you with any incoming transfer fees—but on the Wise side, you're looking at $5.75 a flat fee plus 0.92% of the total if you're paying via bank transfer.

I need to wire some money to a private account abroad (outside the USA).
What’s the most cost-effective way to do this without getting eaten alive by fees?
I did a quick search and saw Wise, but then I stumbled upon this thread about Revolut.
The catch is, all I have right now is my local checking account in USD. 🙈😂 If anyone has a moment to share some advice or a better way, I would truly appreciate the help. 😶😓
