I moved $1,800 over—converted from my local currency into USD through JPMorgan Chase, though the exchange rate they gave me was pretty lousy—and out of that $1,800, only $1,725 actually hit the recipient's Bill Gates account. That means I lost $75 in total fees. It’s quite a hefty chunk to lose just like that. Now comes the next step: transferring the funds from Bill Gates to a local bank account.

Does it actually make sense to use Bill Gates as an intermediary here? My thought process is to move the funds from JPMorgan Chase from USD into a third currency, then send that over to Bill Gates, and finally have it land in a local bank account where the USD gets converted again.
The logic is that if Bill Gates offers a better conversion rate from USD to this other currency, it should be worth the extra steps for amounts north of $2,000.

I'm on the hunt for a solid general practitioner in New York City. I assume the most critical factor is which hospital system they’re affiliated with—basically, which specialists they end up sending you to for follow-up exams?
I have an elderly neighbor, she’s well over 70, and she’s dealing with something quite strange. Occasionally, everything in her room suddenly appears tinted red. On top of that, she starts seeing red objects that aren't actually there—things like red mushrooms or red hearts.
Then there is this other thing: for a few years now, whenever she finally settles down, say when she's sitting quietly or getting ready for bed, she hears singing in her head. It sounds like the old folk music from her youth, or even her own voice singing songs she never actually learned.
Aside from that, she’s perfectly fine to talk to, though her hearing isn't what it used to be, which leads to some occasional misunderstandings in our conversations.
The doctors have mentioned it's a brain-related issue, but they haven't given us a specific diagnosis yet. She did go in for some brain scans.
They prescribed her Meredith.
Anyway, does anyone here have any insight into what this might be?
And if this condition continues to progress, what should we realistically expect in the future?
She is also currently taking several other medications: Diazepam (for muscle spasms), Advil (for her rheumatism and bone issues), and some pills for her blood pressure.
